I was actually not familiar with the story that this movie was depicting. But then again, I don't live in America and I have no interest in the American law system.
Stumbling upon this 2024 drama titled "Kemba" by sheer luck here in 2025, I opted to watch it on account of it being a movie that I hadn't already seen. And I virtually didn't know what I was in for here.
Writer Christine Swanson put together an entertaining and enjoyable script and storyline. As stated above, then I was not familiar with the real life story of Kemba, and thus I don't know how true Christine Swanson was to actual events. Regardless, I found this movie to be an entertaining movie to watch, and that is the purpose of a movie, now isn't it?
The acting performances in the movie were good. I wasn't familiar with a single actress or actor on the cast list though.
While he movie "Kemba" was good, it is hardly a movie that warrants more than just a single viewing, as there isn't enough contents to sustain more than just the first viewing.
My rating of director Kelley Kali's 2024 drama movie "Kemba" lands on a six out of ten stars.
