I was fortunate to come across The Sound Eye through the lead actor Wassim Hawat.
After watching a trailer and hearing other good reviews around, I took the plunge and paid a mighty $7 (absolutely well spent) to watch this film.
I was really blown away by how confident the film is from the get go, It very cleverly takes its time to deliver character beats and story arcs as its own pace, deliberately without giving too much away and allowing the viewer to uncover some twists and turns with the main character Vincent (Wassim Hawat).
The Sound Eye is a solid film delving deep into faith, morality, retribution and revenge, love, betrayal, fate, acceptance, loss and the ability of one's self to move on. And recover from personal trauma
I was particularly blown away by Wassim Hawat's performance, stealing the show with his wide range of emotions. There was a particular scene between his character Vincent and Gloiria (Shakila Zab) where you can truly see the happiness in Vincent's eyes and how head over heels (quite literally at one point) he is with this woman.
The Sound Eye is an extremely solid film with some deep meanings well worth discovering.
Highly recommended for fans of independent cinema with a psychological twist.

A great psychological story in which sees the protagonist played by the talented Wassim Hawat, portray such a complex character with a gritty vulnerability which kept me engaged from the moment he entered the first scene till the very end. A powerful and truthful representation of what I call, a real human being and a story that we all can relate to. Great twists and turns. Brilliant cinematography, editing, as we see great pace that keeps the story flowing and moving towards a climax that is unexpected and a real. Great work guys. I definitely gives this a top rating with one of the best films I've seen so far. This team of film makers are definitely on my radar and a team I will be honoured to work with.

Action, faith, drama, and so much culture in such a short film. Everything from the plot, the acting, even the symbolism of every scene is art.
I really enjoyed the style and design of this film.
Must watch.

Captivating short film , exploring number of emotions in change of circumstances. Through the lens of his camera, photographer himself captures and experiences the contrasts of love and jealousy and faith versus evil.
It has a very interesting concept and well edited.

From the first frame to the last, the movie feels like a heartbeat. It hooks your and takes you on a journey. It challenges you and totally surprises you with every minute
It makes you think and leaves you pondering. The actors do an amazing job and preserving the mystery and presenting the inner dialog of the characters.
The bilingual manner in which she story unfolds takes you even deeper into the bowels of this sophisticated plot.
Absolutely loved it. A movie you will watch more than once, with breathtaking videography.
