Utterly disappointed from the word go, other than the bgm in few scenes and sharwa in few others, the movie is nothing but downhill. Would have expected better from ajay Bhupathi and the trailer but the movie is a big let down with story logics down the drain.

Not as bad as some are saying, it's at least one time watchable. First half is decent, not bad. 2nd half felt too dragged. If they reduced the runtime it would have been better. Also, in trailers they showed basically full action, but movie not like that. So go with less expectations about that, but those few action scenes are well done. BGM is ok, performances are great, direction and screenplay let the movie down a bit.

Side note: directors attitude is AWFUL, so much arrogance and stubbornness it's just really unlikeable. There's soooo many successful people in our industry, Mahesh babu, Pawan Kalyan, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Prabhas, and many more, but they all act so humble and kind. Why is this director making such a scene? Even if he had like 20 blockbusters, it's still such a bad attitude.

It's been a while since I've had the chance to experience commotion so big on the big screen. Maha Samudram provided me with just that. Where should I even start here?

The flawed script, exaggerated fights, multiple deviations from the plot, and the big one, the inability to establish a subject of proper substance.

While I'm not at all certain how the director managed to narrate and made the protagonists accept, the director focused on making the film in a raw and rustic manner; it's nothing to be laughed at; whilst the effort of the actors is to be appreciated for the amount of work they've put in, that is no excuse for the direction and writing department's feeble effort in dishing out an exhausting storyline.

The positives, at times, being the fight sequences and the background score that follows. Every actor on-screen has managed to do a moderately good job. Plus, it is evident that not adequate amounts of concentration were put in to make the songs stand out.

The bottom line is, Maha Samudram is an exaggerated tale of misunderstanding and a frail revenge drama with a flawed narrative. All in all, it's a (barely) one-time watch.

Story is good, characters are nice. But writing and world building is far away from nice.

Everyone in the movie change their characters and thought process by just one sentence of others.

First of all, it's a well made and well shot film.

Both characters had their Arcs, especially Sharvanand transformation is so good.

Second half could have been better. There is much potential to create a challenging confrontation between Sharwa-Siddarth Jaggu bhai nailed the CHUNCHU character.

Cinematography is good, especially Sea captures and slow mo's. BGM is good.

There is a potential to get 10/10 but still it's a decent film, much better than routine movies and love stories.
