Chuan Shu Zijiu Zhinan

The most interesting point I find in this storyline is that facts can be seen very differently from different perspectives. There are 2 main characters - the story is seen as a tragedy in one person's eyes but a complete comedy in another's. The characters and sceneries are also beautifully drawn. I can totally see each characters' feelings from their facial expressions. One of the best shows I've ever seen.

Chuan Shu Zijiu Zhinan or Scumbag System is the animation of the novel Scum Villain Self Saving System. At first when I started watching it I liked it but after two or three episodes it got boring and I'm the type of person that doesn't continue boring stuff. After a few days I found myself thinking about it and decided to continue watching it. When I continued watching it I couldn't stop and regretted not completing it the first time. After I finished it I read the novel and became excited for season 2.

Overall, even though it might get boring sometimes you'll find yourself attached to it and might regret it if you drop it so you should continue watching it to the end.

The way I watch Chinese animation series is that I watch the animation first and then I read the original novel later. But this animation, I couldn't watch the animation first because I felt it's kind of boring at first, so, I stopped watching. It's not that I don't try. Believe me, I've tried twice. Then last month, I was so depressed because of political situation in the country I'm currently living in, Myanmar. So, I needed to relax. Hence, I thought about reading a novel and I chose this animation's original novel Ren Zha Fan Pai Zi Jiu Xi Tong (lit. The Scum Villain Self-Saving System). (Sorry that I couldn't write the novel name in Chinese because IMDb doesn't allow me to. That's why I wrote it in Pinyin.) I didn't like the novel that much at first. But the more I read it, the more I felt it was kind of good and I got hooked to it, you know. When I hit half part of the novel, I started to watch this animation for the third time. This time, I could watch it again. Maybe because I already knew the whole story and so, I didn't feel boring. Hence, I could watch it. I watched this animation (the whole 10 episodes) in a day. After I watched, I realised that it was kind of cool animation like the ones I love. Just one little thing that I couldn't watch it without reading the original novel.

So, overall is that this is the first animation that I've encountered "to read the novel first, watch the animation later" situation. If the animation team could do a better job, it'd be better than now.

GOD I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. It's literally perfect, and I just cannot wait for season 2! EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH SCUMBAG SYSTEM. I'm going to read the novel now because I NEED more Binghe and Shizun!
