On the cabin refrigerator, the viewer can see a "On Notice" list, similar to the "On Notice Board" used in recurring segments on The Colbert Report (2005). The list is comprised of: Lutherans, Black Hole at Center of Galaxy, and Grizzly Bears.
The full version of "Jingle Man, Christmas Boy" can be heard on the DVD advent calendar on December 20th.
The back cover of the DVD release contains a depiction of the principal cast as Peanuts-style caricatures on stage, similar to the first rehearsal sequence in La Navidad de Carlitos (1965). Some of the more obvious references include John Legend sitting at a piano like Schroeder, Willie Nelson being surrounded by fumes like Pigpen, and Jon Stewart carrying (and dragging) a blanket like Linus. Less obvious is Leslie Feist being posed in a dance similar to that of one of the minor Peanuts characters.
On the DVD version, viewers can choose a version with or without a laugh track.
