Good show, but could be great. I enjoyed the relationship with Caitlyn and Curtis the most. I loved how it grew slowly, and was about more than teenage sex. The added females to make two-way triangles with each of them was SO unnecessary. The whole Kiara/Caitlyn attraction felt like it was just there to check a box for the alphabet community. It didn't feel authentic to Caitlyn's character, who obviously had very real feelings for Curtis, even if she was denying them . I understood the Zac/Alicia/Harris triangle to show the level of competition between the two, but can we stick to one in a show, maybe two. No need for three or four! I understood the storyline with Brooke, but personally, I hope she finds love with Marcel. The mystery of the story is great, and that was quite the cliffhanger it ended on. I hope there is a second season and that they stop trying to check boxes at the expense of the story, because it could be really great!
I saw some photos of the premiere from actors I followed (Drake and Josh) that peaked my interest, but I have to say, I truly didn't know what to expect when I came across this on Prime. I was pleasantly surprised by the plot and acting in this show, so much so that I binged it in a few days! I really love how things kept flowing and wasn't dragged out and boring like some tv series can be. Same goes for the acting, I'm always afraid of the dialogue and dynamics seeming 'forced.' Truth be told I really loved how this series built up over the episodes and the chemistry with the cast is undeniable!
So when I show the series on prime video I thought it would be a boring one about cars and youngsters who want to achieve their goals and basically it would be a coming of age series that wouldn't mind if you did it see it at all. But I must say it really surprised me and was very good.
When one episode finishes you definitely want to see another one. The hole season is ten episodes about 55 minutes each.
I totally recommend it to youngsters because it's something that has a little bit of everything action, romance, drama and also amazing music. Which trust me it's awesome !!!
So if you haven't seen the series yet you should probably organise a series marathon with your friends and have fun a Friday night because let's face it who doesn't like a good series.

This was an easy and interesting watch. It was campy at times but what coming-of-age show isn't? I liked the underlying mystery that they slowly developed over the season. I do think some of the drama surrounding why characters aren't with each other is unnecessary but I think they're playing the long game for a show with multiple seasons to come. My favorite parts of the show were the characterization of Dottie's life lessons and Marcel. Even though his character is that of sidekick, I think he arguably had the best character development in the whole show and the person I most rooted for. The only sticking point for me was the music. This show desperately needs musical direction. It was primarily top 40's but it was all over the place with pop, country, rock. For a show set in the Rust Belt, I think it would benefit from some edgier off-radio choices.
This was a great series, I binged it in 2 days. I came across it by accident while trying to find something new to watch and was instantly hooked. It reminded me a lot of the series The Outer Banks but on wheels. I highly recommend this series it won't disappoint. I really feel the creators of this series did an excellent job with the casting of the characters, as well as the storyline. Each episode you watch leaves you wanting to know what's going to happen next as new pieces to the story are slowly unveiled. I truly hope Amazon Prime renews this series for a second season it's absolutely worth it.
