At Dead of Night

This game is what all of those AAA horror games should be aspiring to be. There have been so many horrible AAA horror games lately. This game is scary! Exactly what a horror game is supposed to be. This game has a fantastic story that you don't have to Google to understand what the story is. There is no previous knowledge you need to play the game. So many other games make the story so obscure or difficult to understand without Google explaining. This game is original and fantastic! If you are thinking about playing it you should!

This game is amazing, from the amazing graphics to the enticing story, this game hits every mark almost perfectly. The graphics being live action really helps to immerse yourself into the story like if you were actually there. Jimmy chasing you around the hotel is really horrifying, and his AI helps that because he's relentless. Also, getting to know the stories of Jimmy's victims is really cool. The game is very unique, I've never seen a game like this before, and I'd love to see more. I hope the sequel brings more of this. If you can, please buy the game, you won't regret it, but if not, go see a playthrough. I can't blabber enough about how much I adore this game.

If you are on the fence on whether or not to buy this game and play through it yourself, DO IT! I've always loved interactive story driven games, and At Dead of Night takes it to a new level. Having you roaming through a hotel trying to piece together a story while avoiding a killer roaming the halls and communing with the dead to piece together an overarching story of the hotel's past takes the genre to a whole new level I've never seen before. The story is great, the gameplay with the mix of cinema and 3d rendered environments is incredible, and it all comes together for a fresh, new, and horrifying experience. Definitely in my top 5 games of all time, and that's coming from someone who has been playing story driven horror games since the early 2010's. At Dead of Night is so unique from any other game I've ever played, and is truly an experience I would recommend to anyone wanting to play a free roam, story driven horror game. Fantastic!
