Invisible Threads - From Wireless to War

This is an excellent documentary about the Telefunken station on Long Island. If it were presented as such, I would have given it 10 stars. But it is presented as a movie about Nikola Tesla, which IMHO it is not.

It is a documentary about Telefunken with some Tesla facts sprinkled in.

In the trailers you get to see Tesla and the Wardenclyffe site, the Wardenclyffe Tower (completely digitally reconstructed), even some of Tesla's oscillators that were on display inside the Wardenclyffe building, but all of this doesn't play a role in this movie at all.

It is about Marconi and the Telefunken site in Sayville and how wireless technology was used in war. How scrutiny of the secret services was by-passed etc.

A very interesting documentary, but not about Tesla.

This documentary was insightful, informational, and eye opening. It was an interesting story that was well researched and shared an important part of our collective history that isn't common knowledge. Local historians and people who had ties to the Telefunken station on Long Island were interviewed on camera, sharing pieces of information that would have otherwise been lost to the past.

Key players were digitally reconstructed which was pretty neat to see on screen, like they were alive and well, telling their part of the story.

Really thankful this information is out there so the legacy lives on.
