Lovely location. Sweet story. Well cast. Yes it is predictable but warm and cozy and comfortable.

After a month of depression, this film was the perfect motivation to me!
First of all, the ice hotel is absolutely stunning!
Secondly, The lead actresse spirit is joyful and fun, even her clumsy face expressions, at some points, were very fitting to the character. I gave it 10 cause it's the kind of films that you need when you feel down and discouraged, it's like a gentle push to help you believe in yourself more. Above all that, I can relate to Hana's character in so many ways. Steve lund also did an acceptable effort to picture the shy kind of guy. In the end, this film is totally joyable and worth it!

This is a predictable story with very little tension. There isn't a lot of plot but the writers and director do the one thing I frequently complain some movies don't do enough- they throw the leads together almost every possible chance.
Jocelyn Hudon is a young lead where many of the Hallmark leading ladies are nearing or past 40. There's nothing wrong with that except it limits the studio when trying to make stories about younger couples. Hudon has been doing work for Hallmark for several years now, although not as much as I would like to see lately, although perhaps Covid has something to do with that. Hudon is just right for this role and she has great chemistry with Steve Lund. Hudon does a good job dealing with the back-and-forth in her confidence and that is one thing the script does well.
I said predictable, and it is for broad strokes, but I was a little surprised at how one character acted toward the end.

Interesting location. I've never considered visiting an Ice Hotel, but this place looks magical. Having said that, the hotel and Steve Lund are the ONLY things this stinker have going for it. Lead actress has zero personality, and should consider going back to acting school. Don't waste your time.
I've seen this location before in the other Ice Castle Hallmark movie. Since it's a Canadian location, it makes sense.
The story was unusually boring, although the scenes were okay. The lead was overly clumsy, which was a little unnerving. Too klutzy.
And no kissing between the secondary couple when she accepted his marriage proposal! Just bizarre! The loud conversation about a secondary character took place with that person sitting 2 feet away. Just weird.
The leads were not passionate. The ending was boring and fell absolutely flat. It was a travel video, basically, all over the place. The best things were the scenery, including the enchanted lit forest, and the lessons on glassmaking, cooking, and ice sculpture...

- PifiasBen and Bridgette talk about the need to have two guides for the snowshoeing tour: one as the lead, for which Hannah volunteers Phoebe for; and one for the rear, for which Hannah volunteers herself and Ben volunteers to accompany her. On the actual tour, Phoebe does lead the group, but Hannah and Ben take the position right behind Phoebe, leaving no safety person at the rear, which is what Hannah and Ben were supposed to be.
