James Rolfe VS Time

Let me start the review by first of saying that I'm not much of a TV person and the simple reason is because I don't have Time. Finding Any free Time was a challenge it was just an hour here, an hour there slowly from October until February. So whenever there was precious Time I watched the first couple episodes on mute with subtitles so as to not disturb muh kidz I found it hit or miss but when it's good it's amazing now I had only seen about a quarter of the show I could tell that it's progressing, that it keeps getting more and more twisted as it goes on which is great but unfortenately I had to quit halfway through the first season because I ran out of Time.

Anyway a year goes by and finally I get back to James Rolfe vs Time. And then the show just kept getting better and I became obsessed like I'm watching them all now so I put a stop to everything else trying to fit Time to watch one episode per night until I watched all 14 episodes and now that I've made it to the finish line I can say all the praise it got was well deserved. I feel like if I had the Time I could talk about how much it disturbed me on an emotional side but I just don't have that kind of Time right now because I had to be done at 5:40 right now and it's exactly 5:40 right now. I wish I had Time but there's no Time whatsoever

5:40 Anyway.

Although I didn't have time to watch the whole thing, so I just listened to it. And it's still 10/10.

Like most of the people who love this series, I can strongly identify with the protagonist. I too- hold on...I hear my baby crying. I'll be right back.

Like I was saying, I too struggle with chronophobia. Why? Take a wild guess. That's right. Kids. Speaking of which, I hear my baby crying again. Be right back.

Okay, back. I'll type the rest of this superfast because I'll probably have to go back up again soon. Anyway, if you ask anyone in the world who has had even one single kid, they'll tell you that they don't allow you to have any time whatsoever until they're at least 18 years old. And yet the world still demands unreasonable things from us parents. For example, doing a job.

Not everybody has it as hard as guys like me and James so they don't understand. Sure, we get to set our own schedules and don't really have to commute to work, but that hardly lessens the enormous burdens we and our couches are forced to support from our colleagues. What do these people expect me to do? Quit my non-profitable band I formed with my friends to make covers of classic rock songs while also referencing video games? I'm only human!

Anyway, though I liked the show, there were some parts I thought were stupid. Such as the scenes where James has to collect Jord™ watches to get more time. That's pretty creative, isn't it? That would be like if they made a movie out of the game Die Hard for NES and Bruce Willis hurts his feet when he walks on broken glass. Or if they made a movie out of Lethal Weapon and Mel Gibson went around eating dog biscuits.

I don't know where the series will go from here, but I have some ideas in case the producers are reading this. Last night, I put aside a tiny, tiny slice of time to write a 200 page pitch for a cross-over series with James Rolfe, the Universal Monsters, and It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World. For example, I think Mike Matei could be Frankenstein's monster (fun yet very obscure fact: Frankenstein was the name of the doctor). Maybe some day I'll share it with them if they contact me. And if I'm lucky enough to have the time. Which I won't. Oop, there's my baby crying again. Gotta wrap this up.

This truly captures the age old battle of Man Vs time. And what a swole casting choice! Take a wild guess. None other than the film curator himself James Rolfe.

I gotta say this is the first time I've seen a movie based on time. And I can see why it's so popular. As if I'm not aware how popular time movies are.

Couldn't finish watching the movie because it was almost 5:40. I'll have my kids re-edit the film so I can watch it all later. The punching bag scene was truly inspiring and the dragon brought tears to muh eyes. Unfortunately, there was no cameo by the director. VHS version is superior.
