The song that made Eros Ramazzotti a global star due to his unique vocal performance and made a whole generation fall in love with the Italian language through a contemporary rock/romantic ballad style and rhythm, received a so-and-so music video. Yet it's worth seeing and hearing.
The singer performs the song along with presence of a female model, and there's also some photo-shoots going on with a photographer following his every move. The man with the camera (on and off the video) is Spike Lee, and it's a somewhat funny performance, a completely unexpected appearance. Nothing about the video makes you remember Ramazzotti's words about life, love or romance - okay, maybe some seductive bits are shown but it's almost uneventful. Kind of lazy direction from Mr. Lee and the setting used involving pop/rock stars was already worn out by then.
Fine video, but the real treasure is the music. One of those that I never get tired of hearing it after all these years. It's only a pity that the guitar intro was reduced for the video (it doesn't even play on radio versions). When that intro pops in, it's all about warm sensations, then the man's voice comes along to make us swoon. 8/10.
