What aided him in those steller ventures are most importantly its scripts - by Shahi Kabir and Suresh Babu, respectively. Verdict of The Movie : Above Average

Plot of the Movie: Indrajit Sukumaran playing as Inspector is given a duty to get back a prisoner who is yet to come back to jail as his parole is over...

But when he nabs Solomon alias Suraj Venjaramood he comes to know the story of his life and how it changes his thinking towards the law forms the rest part of the story...

1) Story based on the child abuse which we often hear a lot but executed in a different way which was quite convincing....

2) Notable performance of Suraj Venjaramood as after Jana Gana Mana, another strong performance from his side... He was the pillar...

3) Aditi Ravi done quite a good performance...

4) Indrajit was good but after watching his constant police roles in Kurup, Night Drive nothing different kind of performance being visible from his side....

5) Predictable Climax....

6) Location was apt for the story...

7) Cinematography, Direction was well executed...

Overall a One Time Watchable Movie.

A decent thriller flick with a not so complicated story . We have seen the story before but the making is good. Soundtrack of the movie is well executed and makes the movie better. Good performances from the leads also makes the movie a one time watch worthy.

The movie making and cast is ultimate, other than that nothing appreciable thing in this movie. The movie is HIGHLY predictable from the beginning to end. The flashback also not connecting and ended up another simple revenge drama. The location and camera work was really good, but spoiled by the uninteresting screenplay.

There are good amount of emotions and sentiments, but presented in the same old way which we had seen thousand times in other movies. Highly disappointed with this unoriginal drama.

Patham Valav revolves around Suraj Venjaramoodu's character Solomon,who is a convict out on parole. After he doesn't return even after his parole term has ended, a police team is sent to bring him back. The cops are led by sub inspector M Sethunath (Indrajith Sukumaran), who has to reach the hospital for his wife's delivery but is given this last-minute assignment. Rest of the characters handled by Aditi Ravi, Swasika, Sudheer Karmana, Major Ravi, Nisthar Ahmed and Ajmal Ameer.
