The Only Good thing about this movie is Sonal Chauhan, someone after so many years realised that she can be a better action star. Rest everything is waste of money, time and stamina. I wonder how come this people are wasting so much money for cringy stuff like this. Nagarjuna should take a retirement now, his age was visible in every scene. Gul Panag was wasted like never before. Other actors are also almost wasted. The major disappointment of this one is the story. It starts with a bang and ends up with nothing. All Said And Done simply give it a pass unless you are a diehard fan of Sonal chauhan.
I always look for these kind of genres which are rare. Praveen tried to make a slick action thriller, he wants to do something like Hollywood movies like John wick, man on fire.
Background score is okay.
Nag is terrific and so doesn't other actors.
Only problem is that Praveen couldn't make a proper script. Action is good but Nag never had problem. He killed everyone with ease, never got connected to emotions. A good opportunity goes wasted. Praveen sattaru can definitely make a better movie, his approach towards story is not good but we can laud his idea of filmmakingz
We can appreciate the attempt but fall short A glossy costly flop but a part of me appreciates the attempt.

Telugu mass cinema has never been one for logic and realism, but certain films insult the intelligence of audiences so much that they become unwatchable after a certain point. "Ghost" from Nagarjuna is one such barrage of endless cliches stuffed between some well-choreographed action sequences, that tests your patience while giving you a massive headache from the mayhem going on pointlessly on screen.
Superstar Nagarjuna stars as "Vikram" an ex-Interpol agent who is forced to come out of retirement after some business rivals threaten his sister (Gul Panag) and her family. Aided by his ex-flame "Priya" (Sonal Chauhan), how he turns the tables on the people out to harm them form the rest of this super-cliched, oft-repeated storyline.
Director Praveen Sattaru who had previously delivered the National Award-winning romance anthology "Chandamama Kathalu" in 2014, is clearly out of sorts in this film and was unable to leverage the talented cast he had at his disposal. Nagarjuna's trademark style and panache is utilized only in the action sequences, with the dialogue and confrontations with the antagonists lacking any real tension, suspense or mass elevation.
The stunt choreography from Dinesh Subbarayan and Kecha are the lone saving grace of the film, although why an ex-Interpol supercop has to resort to katana swords to tackle gun-wielding gangsters is beyond me. It also doesn't help matters that these stylish fight sequences are interspersed between large, boring sections of plot points and contrived twists that you can see coming from a mile away.
Nagarjuna, Sonal Chauhan and Anikha Surendran turn in the best possible performances given the laughably inept scripts they were given to work with, but cannot save this film from being anything but an eyesore and an earsore. "Ghost" will be a difficult watch for even the most hardcore of Nagarjuna fans and is definitely not recommended! Avoid at all costs!

I was browsing Netflix just as this movie was released decided to settle for it as I love south indian movies.
Nagarjuna is known for style and action but he couldnt save this weak script. The movie had taken bits from John Wick, Taken and some other Liam Neeson movies.
At times you can tell Nagarjuna is standing in front of a green screen.
Overall production value was good but the plot was full of loopholes, the whole underworld is afraid of one man is rather far fetched, but then again you gotta turn off logic to enjoy the movie.
The premise was really good but very weak delivery.
I have given up on bollywood a long time ago, I hope south cinema doesnt start going in same direction with such movies.

Vikram (Nagarjuna) is an interpol agent who after a failed rescue mission, quits his job & becomes a freelancer. When his estranged sister Anu (Gul Panag) reaches out to him to protect her daughter Aditi & herself from the multiple death threats they have been recieving, he flies all the way to India to protect his only family. How he protects them while unearthing the bad men behind the death threat forms rest of the story.
It is a simple done to death story narrated stylishly. The first act is an outright downer with the songs not being good & mainly the narration entirely faltering in creating any emotional connect between the characters. They turned out as superficial as they can. It is once the action begins, the film softens up. The predictable scenes don't allow the story to rise above the shallow the narrative. In the end it's just part Taken part John Wick, without having any originality. The lack of a strong villain also undermines the whole third act.
In short, just an easy peasy mission for the hero. The lenient rating is for the action scenes only. Make it through the first act, the film gets far more bearable.

- CuriosidadesAnu's husband Ashok Nair's photo is of veteran actor late Raghuvaran who played Satya in Nagarjuna's 2004 hit Mass. Since Raghuvaran died in 2008, this seems like a remembrance to him.
- PifiasWhen Aditi Nair is at the "Real Party" she was handed a bottle they said was just Coke. As she is drinking from the bottle you can see the amount of liquid keeps changing from almost empty to almost full again. It is like they didn't pay attention to how much was in the bottle from one take to the next.
