First time Turkish actor Can Yaman is acting in Italian and he did not disappoint! Always been a fan of police dramas and I fully enjoyed this new one. Great story line and writing. Just the right amount of seriousness and comedic banter. Absolutely beautiful scenery. Looking forward to the upcoming episodes. Definitely kept my attention. Great chemistry between cast members especially Can Yaman and Francesca Chillemi. They leave you wanting to get to know them more. Can't wait to see how their relationship progresses. Definitely worth watching. You will not be disappointed. Bravo to the cast and crew!

Best series watched in a while. All characters are written so well! Can Yaman & Francesca Chillemi's acting is amazing. The chemistry those two created onscreen is interesting already. Love her character, funny and witty. Also Can Yaman, he is whole new in this. I've seen his in Erkenci kus & other of his turkish series, but in Viola come il mare, an Italian series, he is completely different. A new person & it only shows how much he grew and his progress as a human and celebrity. I'm really proud of him. Bravo Can!! I think I'm gonna rewatch the series again & again; never get bored. Second season review - Although I give the second season a ten, there is no chemistry, spark or magic between Can Yaman and Francesca Chillemi. They look absolutely beautiful together but adding scenes where they kiss isn't helping. The series is very successful in Italy and 20 other countries. I watch it for Can Yaman, for the scenery of Palermo and for other cast members. It is also well directed and edited. A third season is confirmed. I do not like that the character of Viola is sarcastic and always one ups the character of Francesco. Or tries to. It borders on emasculating his character something that really turns me off in other series. The two characters or maybe the actors themselves seem to be holding back on electrifying their relationship. Can by himself is mesmerizing on screen. That will do.

Absolutely stunning! Loved it every second of this series! Can Yaman and Francesca Chillemi are the perfect duo, beautiful, talented and funny! Another big protagonist is Palermo, all the shots are perfect and it makes you dream of being there! Lux vide is a big production company in Italy and the choice of this series nailed it.

Congratulations to all cast!

Police dramas are everywhere, so it's hard to come up with something new. VCIM is not an Earth shattering piece of television, but it is very entertaining. Time flies fast, as you watch Viola trying to find her footing in the new city, with a boss who has no faith in her abilities, chauvinistic colleagues and no friends. Francesca Chillemi created a very sympathetic character you can't stop rooting for. Can Yaman plays a police inspector, cynical, flirtatious and very competent in his job. When his Francesco Demir meets Viola sparks begin to fly. I would be tempted to say that it's a typical sunshine/grumpy trope, but Demir throws jokes around like old ladies throw bread for the ducks in the park. So I guess it's more of a sunshine/cynical joker kind of situation. Especially because the inspector doesn't hide the fact that he wants to see Viola in his bed and gets frustrated when his typical tricks don't work. (Way to go, Viola!) Those two already have a rapport that is a source of laughs. The rest of the cast blends very well with the protagonists, the overall chemistry between the characters is coherent and on a high level. Cinematography is great, with the views of the beautiful Palermo looking like a postcard - it really makes you wanna go there.

Overall it's a fun, breezy, kind of summery show with a high rewatchability factor. Give it a go.
