Nova Jones

What a terrible TV series this is. It's a basically a complete ripoff from a French TV show called Pop Secret that aired in the 2000s as it has the same plot, storyline and setting, but made worse than that TV series. I thought Pop Secret was bad until I saw this TV show, despite that being a low budget garbage animated TV series, I am beginning to regret it now. The songs a terrible, not catchy at all even Pop Secret had better songs than this. The acting is unprofessional and weird for a TV series. Weird set, weird plot, weird everything. The comedy is weird. If this TV series was planned 25 years ago, it never go through production.

Goodness me, this show is bad, especially the script. Doesn't surprise me that a previous review mentioned this was written by a middle aged man with no experience of modern kids and it especially doesn't surprise me to learn this dude is usually just a script editor. You can just tell. I'm so sorry to everyone else who had to be involved with this mess. I understand times are hard but this was unnecessary and more than likely will disappear and be forgotten about.

It's almost offensive that this even went to production. It should definitely have been left on the desk it landed on, or better still, nudged into the trash pile. It's embarrassingly bad. I guess that's why it only made it to digital, but still. What a waste of money and resources that could've gone towards something worthwhile.

There's just no redeeming qualities to it at all, it's simply a bad and very basic attempt at creative writing that should never have been commissioned. Primary school aged children can write better than this and must feel quite insulted to have this thrown at them and be expected to engage.

Great kids show with lots of fun and wonderful music. Molly rainford is super as Nova. Bbc needs to make another series as I can imagine the kids will be very vested in nova Jones.

I know its a show for young children but it unfortunately came into my presence. It was just a background show, but even as a background sound it brought my ears physical pain. I love when kids shows are wacky and dumb for the sake of comedy, this show however needs fire, and lots of it. Burn it, burn it all and lets never speak of it again.
