The Girl in Cabin 13: A Psychological Horror

First, you have a pretty girl completely wrapped up in herself (standard insta) with absolutely no ability to express real emotion. Then you have her boyfriend who, while tolerant, is pathetic and just as emotionless. Like another reviewer said, the best acting was done by the antagonists who never even spoke. The storyline is weak, predictable, and only offers a couple good jump-scares. Unfortunately, those aren't enough to rescue this movie to a point of making it worthwhile watching. There are so many movies more frightening and/or comical that made this one a waste of my time (yes, I watched it to the end).

Don't waste your time watching this movie it is the worst. Do not watch it it literally suck like the actual was horrible even the running skills were terrible literally the worst mover ever go find a better movie to watch.

"The Girl In Cabin 13" is a film that fails to deliver on every level. The acting is so wooden that it feels like the actors are reading their lines off cue cards. The dialogue is even worse, with lines that are so contrived and unbelievable that they elicit unintentional laughter from the audience.

The plot is also incredibly cliché, with a group of young adults heading off to a remote cabin for a weekend of partying and fun, only to be terrorized by a mysterious figure who seems to be out for blood. The twists and turns of the story are so predictable that even the most naive viewer will see them coming a mile away.

The film's production values are also disappointing, with cheap special effects that look like they were done on a budget of a few dollars. The camera work is uninspired, with no sense of style or flair. It's clear that the filmmakers were more interested in making a quick buck than in creating a compelling story or memorable characters.

Overall, "The Girl In Cabin 13" is a film that should be avoided at all costs. With wooden acting, terrible dialogue, and a clichéd plot, it's a waste of time for anyone who values quality filmmaking.

Woooo hooo! Another one of those great ones that obviously should have won best picture! Girl and Guy go to cabin in the woods. Girl and Guy get rousted by 3 men in masks. No skin. No significant gore. This has definitely not been done before right????!!!!

I don't know what they are learning in these Dimmie schools anymore, but it certainly isn't filmmaking. Or writing. This was just another example of crud movies in the 21st century.

And IMDB has now made it so a review has to have 600 characters before it can be entered. I really don't expect that to last very long because people are sure to complain about it. But until that happens I guess we have to expect reviews to be long winded and sometimes about absolutely nothing to do with the show in question.

I've seen people slack off at work, basically phoning it in and now that has made its way into current day Hollywood. The writing was unrealistic and the acting equally as bad. If you see a man in a scary clown mask while hiking in a secluded cabin retreat, then the man chases you, and you do absolutely nothing about it...no cops, no plan to leave, and you don't even tell your girlfriend and you go about your day as if nothing happened. That's just one of many absolutely atrocious scenes in this movie. It was not scary, in the least. I was generous giving this one star. Watch at your own peril as you can't ever get your time back.
