A Bachelor's Valentine

The cast seemed to gel together so well. The acting was phenomenal. Brian Gaskills character,Paul had my emotions up and down throughout it all. At some parts I was just gahhhhh! Paul what are you doing?? Why are you being so damn grumpy and sassy 😂 then I'd get all emotional.

Brian Gaskills acting was amazing. He brought Paul to life.

And honestly Brian Gaskill is an amazing actor. Although he's not not in the mainstream, this guy deserves to be out there. Because I'm completely stumped as to why he's not. His presence is commanding. His energy is soft and bold if that makes sense. You can see the depths of his emotions/acting in his eyes. It's beautiful.

I can't wait to see him more movies. Brian and his acting is >insert hand jester< *chefs kiss*

I've never written a review here before but I enjoyed "A Reluctant Heart" so much I just had to share my thoughts. This is a wonderful, heartwarming film about characters who live in a small town. The quirky residents remind me of "Gilmore Girls" and "Northern Exposure". They are a close-knit, supportive community and I felt myself wanting to spend more time with each of them! Each of the characters are portrayed by terrific actors. One who stands out to me is Brian Gaskill, who plays Paul Bachelor, an artist who owns a shop in the town. I totally get Jack Nicholson in "As Good as It Gets" vibes from him! Brian shows us Paul's flaws, challenges, and cringe-worthy moments, but we also root for him because he's a good, kindhearted guy. It's easy to get swept up in this story because we care so much about the characters and what happens to each of them. A terrific movie, I would love to see a sequel!
