I remember when this came out and even though I thought the title was incredibly generic and goofy, I still was curious about what this was gonna be about. I think I'll start with some positives because there's a lot more problems than Dhar Mann thinks this movie has:
1. The cinematography is a lot more cinematic than a regular Dhar Mann video. However, the color grading is still really ugly and dull to look at.
2. I like that the regular Dhar Mann actors, hopefully, got a good amount of pay for doing this.
3. I really appreciate that it was only an hour long and not a two hour long "film".
4. I really liked the creepy atmosphere that the "film" had, it's one of a few things that sets it apart from a normal Dhar Mann video.
Alright now let's get into the nitty griddy: this "film" isn't really a film, it's a normal Dhar Mann video that was stretched out to an hour long runtime. Ignoring the fact that he did this same exact story like 4 times with little changes for his YouTube channel, the writing is just super generic. There's nothing unique about this "film" in terms of themes, characters, shot composition, and acting-wise. Let's break it all down:
1. The whole "film" is just unrealistic. The main actress is definitely putting in effort but the character is written so stupidly to the point that she comes off more as obnoxious rather than sympathetic. Even after she is repeatedly told that her biological mother is a bad person and she wants nothing to do with the main character, she still tries to find her.
2. The parents are so stupid and oblivious. Just to show you how stupid they are, they tell their daughter that she is adopted on her birthday. When their daughter goes missing because she stupidly decides to find her biological mother even though her biological dad from PRISON told her that her mom is a bad person who changes her name to avoid being found, the parents are still cooking their stupid Thanksgiving dinner instead of looking for their daughter.
3. The post credit scene is a really dumb set-up for a sequel that no one will watch. Why would the main character's supposed "surprise" brother go to meet their dad in prison in hopes of getting money from him?
4. The ending is so unnecessary and useless because it shows one of the main character's friends unboxing her gifts and she gets an IPhone. Why was this included? Why should I care? Speaking of the main character's friends, I found her character to be incredibly annoying. Whenever the main character tells her private information about her personal life like how she found out she's adopted, the main character's friend just keeps shouting this information in public. She does this so much to the point that I would just never tell this girl anything about my personal life.
Overall, this was a waste of time. I definitely respect that Dhar Mann gave this a shot but I can tell that he doesn't really care about making good art or a good movie. He just wants to continue making generic content to keep making money of it. I do hope one day he finds the passion for filmmaking and creativity but for now, this was a really soulless "film" with no real redeeming factors. Also he should be paying his actors and listening to them. I don't really recommend this to anyone.

Decided to watch this movie and I instantly regrets it. Not because its bad, because I didn't watch it sooner. One of the most emotional movie you'll ever see in your life, I was so sad when I found out she's adopted, so much so I pooped my pants.
WARNING: I was really looking forward to seeing the girl find out she's adopted on Thanksgiving. But instead the girl finds out she's adopted on her 15th birthday. I feel like I've been lied to, and I'm questioning what is reality.
FILMMAKERS: If you're watching this PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a sequel where the girl forgets she's adopted and (here comes the twist!) the girl finds out she's adopted AGAIN on Thanksgiving. There are so few Thanksgiving movies about adoption surprises, and I feel you could really corner the market on Thanksgiving adoption surprise movies with just one simple sequel.

Ok so i always liked watching dhar Mann videos even tho some of them are cringe but it's fine so when I heard he was making a movie I was interested. So I went on YouTube and watched the movie and I'm surprised it was good it wasn't the best but it was decent enough where I would define my recommend it and I would watch it again is it the best movie no it has flaws but other than that it is a decent movie.
I watched every Dhar Mann video since the start of this year. And at that day the movie trailer came out I was expecting a new Dhar Mann video, but no it was a new look into something new. The big unravel of this masterpiece of a movie. The tag does not disappoint you, the ending does shock you by touching your heart.
There are some things that are not so great about the movie though. Take this scene for example, Sabrina try's to get into her fathers prison by fake crying, but if you watched the film you would know that she already had a birth certificate. Why not just show that to the guard rather than putting that much effort to act out a emotional breakdown. There's a moment too when Sabrina finds out she's adopted and posts an emotional selfie to the straight to the internet.
Other than those tiny little flaws the film is beautiful in every aspect. The lighting in this film is top notch too, the lighting level is appropriate all across the movie, it really gives it that final touch. But the set design is really the thing that makes it stand out from all the other Dhar Mann videos. In the normal Dhar Mann videos the set design is the thing they really don't care about, but this movie is different. The vibe and atmosphere is just right across the whole movie.
The movie is fun and straight to the point. Across the whole movie your asking yourself "what will the parents look like?", or "why does the mother not want to see her child?". Its those little mysteries that gets you hooked onto this movie. Therefore this is an official masterpiece.
