Honestly this game needs more praise, genuinely such a good game. More games should be Learning from the success of Palwolrd, and in my opinion Palworld should win Game Of The Year. It's genuinely crazy people hate on it for being to close to Pokemon, and say they "stole" designs when Pokemon literally took from Monster Hunter and other games before it. This game is still being updated to this day and i will continue to support it like i have been for over 3 years, i bought the game on everything I own even though i can't play it on my pc. Game runs really good on PS5, not sure about xbox because I don't own one. But anyway, I could go on and on about how great this game is I 100% suggest you check this game out!
Palworld, with its Pokémon-inspired visuals, fails to live up to the standards set by similar games in the genre. The game has faced substantial criticism for its lack of innovation and creativity in gameplay mechanics. Rather than offering a fresh experience, Palworld feels like a derivative attempt, leaving players wanting more depth and originality. One major concern revolves around the in-game economy, where real-world money seems to have a disproportionate impact on progress. This creates a pay-to-win dynamic, potentially alienating players who prefer a fair and balanced gaming experience. The reliance on monetary transactions can hinder the enjoyment for those who seek a more skill-based progression system. Technical issues further mar the gaming experience, contributing to an overall lackluster feel. Reports of glitches and subpar user interface design have been noted, detracting from the immersive quality one would expect from a game in this genre. In summary, Palworld falls short on multiple fronts, failing to deliver the innovative and engaging experience that players anticipated. The game's struggles with gameplay mechanics, economic balance, and technical aspects contribute to an overall disappointment for both critics and players alike.
PALWORLD (2024) is a game with many controversies and scandals surrounding it these days (ie. Plagiarism, lawsuits, etc.) but this review won't be addressing those topics. Instead its visuals, game play, as well as mechanics, will be discussed.
"Fight, farm, build and work alongside mysterious creatures called "Pals" in this completely new multiplayer, open world survival and crafting game."
Visually, Palworld is vibrant and filled with a variety of creatures. The graphics and world design are bright and simple. The world is cute and cartoonish, but suitable to the game. The creature capture system is used here to create a group of pet friends, a band of workers, an army of defenders, a team of builders, etc.
While, it's highly debatable whether Palworld is a derivative work or not, as this game does seem to draw clear inspiration for the character design and combat system, however this game does still feel quite unique in its own ways. Or at the very least, it feels like several games merged into one.
In many ways, this game strongly resembles the Ark games (Ark, PixArk etc.) in terms of mechanics and gameplay. In this game, you start from nothing, and build your way up. The creature capture system this game uses is also very similar to the Ark dinosaur system except the use of the pal-ball capture method, which does bear striking similarity to other (namely Pokémon) games with creature capture systems.
In short, this game has a little of the best of both worlds. It plays like a survival game with focus on capture, taming, collection, building, fighting, farming and exploration. Palworld is a very enjoyable game if you can overlook some clear inspirations from other sources. A great game to play with friends! Overall, very enjoyable.

I can't say enough good things about this game even though it's just the beta it's amazing the things you can do the things you can craft the building. The intricate detail to things is just great and the pals are Hella fun to use don't pay attention to the bad reviews if you love crafting games and building your stuff up from nothing, you will love this game.
I can't stop playing it. It's so fun bravo to the creators and developers. I can't wait to see the full version of this game. It's worth a try and if you love Pokémon it's pretty much an open world version of that. So all in all 10 out of 10 great in my opinion, give it a try.
