RIP

Aside from the location and the lead actress, this movie is just plain awful.

The story is quasi-interesting, yet very contrived. There are plot holes galore: no staff, a girl with no experience managing a property that size alone, legal matters, etc. She had no vehicle and strolled in on foot carrying only a backpack, yet had ample clothes and a nice dress and heels.

The production value is poor. Horrible, uninspired camera work that looks to have been shot with a cell phone. Some shots are out of focus and the lighting is not good. There is nothing remotely cinematic about this movie. The lighting looks extremely unflattering and artificial.

The editing is not good, either. Loose, weird experimenting and a lot of the scenes drag on and could have been tightened up.

I have seen $10,000 that looked much better. I will say it looks like they had a nice time making the film, too bad the end product turned out so poorly.
