With its dramatic finale and overall emotional story arc, this short of Swiss newcomer Ian Oggenfuss caught my attention. The whole film felt like a mini-opera and thus captures the life of artists and their struggles in an intimate way. The interpersonal relationships (especially the one between the main protagonist Enrico and his manager) are captivating and beautifully portrayed. The score and camera work create a unique atmosphere, helping to feel the psychological struggles Enrico goes through.

A final and unforeseeable twist concludes an already captivating story and makes this short an exceptional entry in the genre of opera dramas.
