Hay Bin Yeksan

First of all, this is an animation based on the book Hay bin yakzan by Ibn Tufayl, who lived in the 12th century in Andalusia.

The animation and graphics are very good for 1992, but the important thing is that the subject is handled very well.

There are also some inferences that we are not fully aware of as a human being or that are only subconscious.

And finally, I would like to ask the question: if this were to happen in real life, would a person raised in complete isolation really be able to learn a language from someone? And would they be able to express their experiences and thoughts with the language they learned ?

A short film that make me questioning where i came from and what i am. Production is bad but it has released in 1992 without extreme animation items. And to me, Turkiye has not good films in early 90's and they were'nt give importance to the film, cinema and animation industry. Also that is the first time they used that animation technique and graphics. This is a good attempt to create something different, and they became half-successful. Hay is a kid who lost his family and been put on the sea in a basket, covered with mantle. He incidentally arrives on an island and raised by deers. There are such problems about immersion but intro and the finale (also late minutes in the film - before the final) were good. It's not enough but a really good attempt.
