Resumen
Reviewers say 'Good Omens' Season 2 received mixed reactions. Many praised Michael Sheen and David Tennant's performances, highlighting their chemistry and character depth. The humor, wit, and quirky charm were appreciated. However, criticisms included a perceived lack of a cohesive plot and direction. Some felt the introduction of social and political themes overshadowed the original irreverent humor. Additionally, the development of the main characters' relationship was contentious, with some finding it strange and unnatural.

Wonderful adaption of the book!
I LOVED it!!! I read the book, Good Omens, when I was teenager (I'm now 35.) I remember thoroughly enjoying the book when I was younger, but I read so often then that a lot of stories ran together. Terry Pratchet has always been a favorite of mine, as well as Douglas Adams. You definitely get that "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" feeling in the narration of this series, for those unfamiliar with Pratchet's quirky humor style.
This adaption was BRILLIANTLY done! It's been 20 years since I read this book, and it was like watching the story come alive on screen. A very faithful adaption versus a tale that was just inspired by the source material.
The acting was amazing! David Tennant never disappoints! All the actors did well at bringing their characters to life. Sometimes this type of humor can be hard to pull off on screen (seems to translate, imo, better in writing), but it was handled flawlessly!
It's hard for me to say how those who are unfamiliar with the source material would take this series. I think it would be quite enjoyable with a fresh style of humor that's only done well occasionally. I recommend giving this series a go for sure!

Delightfully hilarious
This is comedy at its best: intelligent sense of humour, engaging plot, crispy dialogues and decent acting.
I have to thank the 20,000 petitioners that tried to have this show banned. Otherwise I might have missed it.

Entertaining
Good Omens is a series based off the book of the same name by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. While I never read the book so I can't compare, I also had no expectations going into it. Having just finished the second season now I can say it was very entertaining. So much so I binged both seasons (only 12 total episodes) over the weekend. The thing that stands out the most is pretty much what every review here has already mentioned and that's the amazing work of its two stars, Michael Sheen and David Tennant. They are what make this series so watchable, any other actors and this wouldn't have worked so well. Season 3 can't come fast enough.
Are you demons or zombies? Choose one!!
A hybrid of all the unharmonious and unmixable. Writers keep adding things in the bowl, and every element repels one another and overflows the cup.
Episode 1.1 -1.4. Solid eight. The foundation of the story is strong, and the motif itself is such a genius idea. An angel and a demon working together and building friendship, solidarity, and love. You know? It's most romantic when it's subtly romantic. Aziraphale and Crowly against the world or the whole universe. It's such a great adventure and romantic as heck. Of course, Sheen, Tennant, and Hamm's acting is fabulous.
Episode 1.5 - 2.6. Everything is so easy and convenient that the audience feels belittled. EVERYTHING happens by luck. There isn't any logic and steps to the problem-solving process. Especially toward the Armageddon, climax of the whole season, it ends so ridiculously in all parts: Adam's friends fighting four horsemen, Aziraphale and Crowly, our two protagonists, standing there doing nothing, Anathema and Pulsifier ending missile launch by just touching the computer. One or two conicidents are comical and can be such a laugh, but when eighty percent of the whole plots, especially with the ones that need most tension and meticulousness, lack effort, the audience should be pissed.
Season 2 is such a mess. The whole plot arc is incoherent and spreads all over the place. It lacks organization and branches out without any direction. Writers bring Zombies, Jane Austen, and memory loss just to fill up sixty minutes of one episode. They are so random, easy, and trite tropes. Writers really need to put even just a spoonful of passion to their writings. It looks as if they are just doing what they are paid to do and then go home. If you don't want to write this show, give it to people who really want it.

Cute and Fluffy
In a nutshell: it is very cute. Although the themes of good and evil, heaven and hell, are rather epic and grand, this at heart just a small, gentle story of two men who hang out in a bookshop together, go to the pub together, pretend not to like each other, but secretly adore each other beyond the telling.
For me, it verged sometimes on schmaltzy. Whimsy is nice. Absurd is nice. But as an English person, with these things I can't always quite shake the feeling that it's a version of England and Englishness being sold shamelessly to Americans. The cuteness of it, like a little decorative teacup, is charming for sure, but I missed a bit of bite too. There are moments when it could almost bite, but then it seems to get scared and back down fast. For all that, Sheen and Tenant are extremely experienced actors who make it fun, watchable, and easy, ably supported by John Hamm (another highly professional actor), who seems to be having the time of his life with this relatively simple, comedic part.

¿Sabías que...?
- CuriosidadesAccording to Neil Gaiman, co-author Terry Pratchett's last request to him before his death in 2015 was for Neil to write the screen adaptation. Previous attempts to bring the book to television failed due to not being able to find a writer able to adapt the book while keeping its spirit and humor.
- PifiasThroughout the first season, lowercase f and long s are often confused. They look very similar, but there are differences (and they are separate letters). Also, f, when it is supposed to be long s, is used in places where long s would not be used.
- Créditos adicionalesThe title sequence features Aziraphale and Crowley walking across space and time from the beginning of the world to the end, accompanied by various people.
