This program is very well done. Have enjoyed watching with my grandkids. Watching on Cowboy Channel can be a bit hit or miss since we like to sit down together and watch when it's on, but it often isn't on or is delayed, but you can watch on demand so that's often what we'll do. I don't know why this show isn't more widely available. It should be. It's great quality. You would think a show like this would have a rather predictable format that follows the team at each event of their season, but it's far from it. It's been quite unexpected at times and unpredictable and in the best of ways. It's far from just being behind the scenes. It's on many levels more interesting and captivating than the bull riding itself. It's a fantastic compliment to the season and PBR events. You really get to know this team and everyone involved. Season 2 feels like the show is hitting its stride and at the same time like it's only scratching the surface. We're ready for more! It wonderfully captures so many stories. It's full of inspiration, motivation and has a lot of heart.
This show is where it's at. I'm surprised, as tough of a season as the Thunder had, you wouldn't know it from the show. I mean you would cuz the show shows them losing but what I mean is that the show isn't any more interesting or better cuz they're not winning. I'm liking Season 2 even more. Really interesting and well told human interest stories is how I would explain it. It really covers the whole sport and in a family friendly, wholesome way which is nice. They are badass bullriders but that's a given. I feel like I really get to know all the people. All the people involved. From the obvious people like the coaches and athletes but Johnny Morris himself, Randy Bernard, some famous faces throughout making appearances. You see and get to meet and get to know lots of family and people behind the scenes and that's not an after thought. It's clear the show wants you to get to know the whole PBR world, community and family. It's really refreshing engaging and entertaining. Please renew for Season 3. This along with the Teams season I was following along on Pluto TV, and CBS Sports and The Ride helps me get my fix. The events in person are great fun. On TV it's good but can be long. This is 20 minutes of good watching.
Go Brittany yay Mother Thunder! While this show is about Team Thunder love that it goes deeper just beyond the cowboys. I can tell whoever is behind it works really hard and care about the people who they're telling the stories about. It's done like it's prewritten if that's the right way to say it. Like it's a story with chapters and weaves together different stories like it was scripted. Just really well done. For anyone who thinks athletes or bull-riders are dumb jocks or quiet and dull, this show demonstrates and proves otherwise. Cowboys of Thunder isn't just for Missourians or PBR or rodeo fans, it's a well executed case study on young bovine athletes pursuing and living their dream lives. Really a quite fun and interesting watch. Not boring or predictable. Done with a lot of care and heart. Hoping and wanting more!
THIS SHOW FOLLOWS THE WHOLE TEAM, AND THE WHOLE TEAM IS GREAT BUT ROSS IS JUST THE BEST! SO FUNNY, SO PASSIONATE AND FIERY. IT'S FANTASTIC TO SEE HIM BACK IN THE CHUTES, DOING WHAT HE LOVES, THERE'S NOTHING LIKE IT. TO GET TO SEE MORE ABOUT HIM AND HIS LIFE, FAMILY AND KIDS IT'S MUST WATCH TELEVISION. WORTH EVERY PENNY. GREAT ROLE MODEL, GREAT LEADER, GREAT COWBOY! WHAT A JOY TO WATCH HIM. I CAME FOR HIM AND STAYED FOR EVERYBODY ELSE AND EVERYTHING THIS SHOW HAS SHOWN. IT'S ABOUT THE THUNDER BUT YOU GET TO MEET AND KNOW SO MANY FOLKS. IT'S REALLY GOOD. REPRESENTS AND PAYS ITS RESPECTS TO EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THE PBR AND RODEO WORLD. PBR FAN OR NOT, WHICH YOU SHOULD BE, I RECOMMEND THIS FOR ANYONE AND EVERYONE. ROSS IS AS ENTERTAINING AS A PERSON THERE IS AND THE REST OF THE SHOW KEEPS UP WITH HIM. LOVE IT.
Bull riding isn't something I've ever followed before, but I must say that Cowboys of Thunder has drawn my attention. I never was a football fan either until the Seattle Seahawks... it's all about the personalities and teamwork connection. Loved Episode 1 - 5 wonderful draft picks and Missouri Thunder got the guys they wanted. So now I'm inspired to follow the sport. Behind-the-scenes and behind-the-chutes each cowboy competitor invites me into the arena of appreciation. This inaugural season of (PBR) Professional Bull Riding with Thunder Days at Big Cedar Lodge, sponsored by Bass Pro Shops, is full of anticipation, passionate enthusiasm, and promise. Excited for the future. Way to go Johnny! You've done it again!
