Month of Madhu is tale with real life characters who live next to us. The director Srikanth shown us what is cinema, and how is it done. Madhu (naveen Chandra) and Madhu (Shreya navya) belong to two different worlds happen to meet and what happens next. This movie shows us what true love looks like, the decisions made in love and out of love.
Lekha(Swati) is the most realistic character of any movie till date, she takes you to her life.
Vasuki (Gnaneswari kandregula) is an epitome of beauty and her performance makes you cry with her.
Viva harsha is the best comedy and actor ever. Mayya!
Camera man did great job. Music is awesome.

Why can't movies be this realistic? It was such a delight to get a glimpse of everything in Madhu's life, side stories, and the vibes of the city. A very strong cast. It kept me wanting for more towards the end, with that I can tell the director succeeded. I wonder how much thinking Srikanth Nagothi had to put through in writing this. Evadiki telusuuu? Velpoindhi... I don't think one can come up with such concepts just like that.
The best part is there is no judging, the film just presents events, perspectives and leaves us to interpret. Apart from the NRI Madhu, if you think about the plot and how it unfolds, it's pretty bland, but still you'll find yourself glued throughout.
Way too much on the face at times, way too many switches to the past and forth made it hard to follow at times, but whatever, it is such a fresh attempt. Need more, many more of such attempts. Loved it! I was totally immersed for those 2+ hours of watchtime.
In my opinion, DJ Tillu took TFI forward in 2022, and then it is Month of Madhu showing the direction to industry in 2023! Enough commercial craps, we need these flicks.

I don't understand what is the essence of the movie! What is the point of the movie? You just showed how one month goes on with various characters..I remember chantabbai where sree lakshmi creates a character just to show how rasam is prepared.. what is the message here? What is there to admire in this?
The only thing good about this is how refreshing swathi is! And that girl from UsA, what an over acting..
The whole new age cinema makes sense only if there is something about these stories.
Movie tries to be wannabe but falls short of minimum expectations and minimum story telling prowess. Its a dud.

Within this cinematic tapestry, the characters unfold as captivating enigmas, and the narrative woven around them exudes a subtle beauty. The pace of the narration, though deliberate, finds its rhythm, allowing the story to unfurl gracefully.
Naveen Chandra and Swathi, with their performances, breathe life into their respective roles, showcasing a profound commitment to their craft. Shreya Navile and Harsha Chemudu deliver impeccable portrayals in their respective roles, while the supporting ensemble complements the narrative admirably.
The musical score harmonizes seamlessly with the film's emotional cadence, enhancing its evocative power. Cinematography and the various technical aspects maintain a commendable standard throughout.
In this endeavor, the director demonstrates a refined artistic vision, crafting a work of superior quality.
For those who relish heartwarming narratives, the theater screen beckons, offering an immersive experience. However, if such tales are not your preference, I recommend an OTT platform, but do not overlook the opportunity to savor this beautiful film.

Madhusudhan and Lekha have been separated with Lekha applying for divorce citing his alcoholism as one of the major reason. He spends all his time drinking and hoping she would come back, refusing to divorce her. A 19 year old NRI teen Madhu arrives in India to attend a marriage. She feels alienated in both the countries and has frequent clash with her disapproving mother, be it the way she behaves or how overweight she is. How these two Madhus meet and why goes through their lives, will Madhu and Lekha divorce or will Madhu and her mom make up, forms rest of the story.
On paper, it definitely sounded far more decent than what was executed on screen. Definitely, the performances elevated the scenes quite a lot and the non-linear narrative helped to stay invested with the story. But, the way I was connected to the story of Madhusudhan and Lekha, I felt as disconnected with the story of Madhu and not that I couldn't follow her story but how her subplot felt had nothing to contribute to Madhusudhan, neither she takes away anything from his life. It's just two random strangers meeting and talking to no avail.
If I get to separate these two stories and entirely then it appears much better with Madhusudhan and Lekha story having much weight and most importantly being relatable. To put it simply, it was more wholesome. Here's a couple who loved each other and then they fell out of love. The mystery behind why the parted is well kept till the end though it's not hard to predict but is more satisfying in seeing the character remember and realise in the end. Overall, Month of Madhu is in a way a missed opportunity and could have been a far better film if the NRI story was handled more effectively.

¿Sabías que...?
- CuriosidadesIn the grocery shop scene (2003) where Bhushan and Madhusudhan Rao are talking, the landline at the shop really rang and the actor Harsha Chemudu attended the call impromptu! The director liked it and included it in the movie.
- PifiasIn the scene where Madhumathi sees Gopal at the beach road and asks him if he is following her, the film's dumb chief AD can be seen walking away in the background realizing that the shot is in progress.
