The other reviewers are correct, it's bad. But for people, like me, who enjoy certain kinds of bad movies, it's a gold mine.
After the first shark attack scene, it goes on tediously for a bit, and I almost gave up on it. There is a lot of pointless dialogue, over explaining of things, etc... but if you can stay with it, it's got a lot of laugh out loud moments.
There is a non-sensical plot, TERRIBLE acting, writing and dialogue, laughable accents, baffling and unrealistic actions, attempts at touching & sentimental scenes for characters the audience cares nothing about, amateurish CGI, etc...
It's a real hoot if you're in to the that sort of thing. If you're wanting an actual "good" shark attack film, you should definitely avoid though.

I fairly certain this film was directed by the dead shark from Jaws!
Filmed on a Nokia 3310 with a script supplied by a dyslexic cat this is possibly the worst film I've ever had the misfortune of watching. Sadly I stuck with it until the end just to see how woeful the ending was. I made that sacrifice for you people so you don't need to. The interaction between the cast feels as though they recorded their lines on different days in different countries. The first 2 characters to die probably fed themselves to the sharks rather than live with the shame of having been cast in this total shocker.

I have to admit that I am sucker for shark movies, despite the fact that 95% of all shark movies are questionable and dubious movies at best. But I still opt to give a shark movie the benefit of the doubt. And such it was with the 2022 movie "Shark Waters".
And I had never heard about writer M. L. Miller's "Shark Waters" movie before getting the chance to watch it. And seeing that dreaded logo pop up on the screen, you know which one I am talking about, The Asylum, I have to admit that my expectations went down a couple of notches for the movie. Yet, I still opted to watch it.
Director Jadon Cal didn't exactly deliver an innovating shark movie. If anything, then "Shark Waters" was a pretty generic movie at best, even for a shark movie. But hey, at least it had sharks. Well, a combination of dubious CGI sharks and some stock footage of sharks. Again, something that is a common occurrence in shark movies, isn't it?
The dialogue in "Shark Waters" was rather shoddy, and there were some genuinely toe-curling moments throughout the 85 minutes that the movie ran for.
The acting performances in "Shark Waters" were fair enough. Some questionable performances, but also some adequate performances. But truth be told, a movie such as this would be astounding if it had stellar performances.
I mentioned the poorly animated CGI sharks, and mix that with some equally poorly animated blood effects in the water, and you know what you're in for when you sit down to watch "Shark Waters".
My rating of "Shark Waters" lands on a three out of ten stars.

Watch it if you don't have anything else to watch. It is lame, entertaining with less kill than would have liked, there needed at least forty two girls in the movie and thirty one men and seventy nine elderly in a big yacht. Only then, it would have been more entertaining and more believable.
The visual effects are horrendous, the sharks aren't.

I love sharks, but I still enjoy a good shark movie. This movie was filmed almost 50 years after Jaws, so you'd expect good (or at least decent) graphics. But no. The graphics are so bad they're laughable. And I'm sorry to say the acting isn't any better. So, is there ANYTHING redeeming about this movie? Only one thing that I can think of. Unlike Jaws, Shark Waters will not be making anybody fear sharks and it certainly won't keep anyone out of the water. Shark Water is a spectacular FAIL in every single way a movie can be. It's so laughable, it's not even funny. So, don't waste your time looking at it. All that will come from watching Shark Waters is that you will have wasted nearly 90 minutes of your life that you will never get back...
