Omg, i just watched stella and i seriously loved it. I'm a huge fan of steve nguyen and studio apa already, but this one hit different. It's such a beautiful short film, like it really makes you think about how precious life is. The way it showed stella's strength and how, even through the hardest times, there's always a glimmer of hope was so powerful. I really felt like i was right there with her, and i couldn't stop thinking about her story long after the film ended.
The animation was stunning, like i was in awe the whole time. The colors, the details, it all just worked so well with the emotions they were trying to convey. Honestly, i wasn't expecting to feel so much, but here i am tearing up lol. It's one of those films that sticks with you and makes you reflect on everything in life.
I absolutely love how steve and the team at studio apa really poured their hearts into this. You can tell they care about the stories they tell, and stella is proof of that. It's real, it's raw, and it's just so beautifully done. 10/10, no doubt. I'll be thinking about this one for a while. Definitely recommend if you want something that'll make you feel all the feels and remind you of the beauty in the struggle. Great job, steve and the whole team!

Stella is a pretty solid music video. The visuals are clean, the lighting is moody, and there's a nice cinematic touch to it. You can tell a lot of effort went into making it look stylish without overdoing it. The pacing works well, and the color choices really help set the mood. It's got a cool, almost dreamy vibe that fits the song perfectly.
That said, while it looks great, it doesn't exactly bring anything new to the table. The concept feels a bit familiar, and it leans more on aesthetics than storytelling. It's definitely well-made, though, and worth a watch if you're into visually polished music videos. Overall, I'd give it a 6/10-good, and enjoyable.

I just finished watching Lovercraft, and I'm still processing how deeply moving it was. The combination of lo-fi music and Ghibli-like animation creates this hypnotic, almost dreamlike atmosphere that pulls you in and refuses to let go. Every frame feels like a painting, every note of the music resonates with emotion. Steve Nguyen has truly outdone himself. His ability to tell a story with such subtlety and grace is incredible. The animation feels nostalgic yet fresh, evoking a quiet melancholy that lingers long after the credits roll. It's rare to find something so simple yet so profound. Absolutely worth watching. I'll be thinking about this one for a while.
