It's so amazing and refreshing to see Kannada movies transcending new heights by experimenting in different genres of movies. In a time where Hindi movies are making utter trash, and Tamil is churning out good movies, but with the same old themes - village, caste, politics etc., its amazing that the Kannada industry changing gears. This is such an attempt, which works very well. Funny from start to finish with good elements of emotions thrown in. All the actors have done well, be it comedy or the emotional scenes. Well written, well executed, and enjoyable movie. Looking forward to such superb comedy movies again in Kannada. Thanks to Lakshmi ramesh and Shivraj for breaking the mould.

From everything I heard about this film, what I expected from this film was a small comedy film that plays in the safe zone of a Kannada comedy. But I was wrong. Even though it does what the best of Kannada film does, which is giving a class film with emotions that will make you so attached to it and at least at one point makes your eyes wet, this film does that with a vision and finesse that is somewhat still fresh.

From the beginning itself, it started showing a bit of comedy and a bit of tragedy without belittling each other's presence. From there to the various situations created, the slow reveal through the 150 minutes runtime to that beautiful ending, everything worked brilliantly. The ensemble cast was brilliant among which at least three of them brought out their best performances yet and each and everyone else fit perfectly in the film. Shivraj was the one that impressed me the most being able to make me easily hate him and within seconds making me cry for him.

The finesse with which the movie changes from a party comedy to family drama and back is commendable. The on-point cinematography and editing along with the rest of what I mentioned before is just proof that debutant director Lakshmi Ramesh knows exactly what and how to direct his story. This is one of the best directorial debuts in Kannada in recent times and probably one of the best comedies, not just in Kannada, of 2022.

Heartouching movie. Mixture of laughter and fun. Moreover upholds much values. An extremely feel good movie...Except the lag felt at certain instances everything was nice... It's a movie to be watched peacefully and being ready to laugh...casting is perfect and each have done their part very well. A normal Happy ending feelgood drama👍. Director knows how to entertain viewers .. Every sequence in this filim awesome.. Don't miss this movie, No sooper stars no haipe no add promotion but this movie will run everyday housefull...The story takes about 15-20minute to set in with the characters and locations. Once that is done, the movie goes on a laugh riot. You will be surprised how your own emotions play along the movie.

Technical department have done their job well and story and screenplay department have made those efforts resulting into a peak level. I really appreciate the writers of this film are. It is not just a usual comedy thriller with a many of emotional contents. I am very satisfied with this film. I would suggest you to go for Dhamakka. It is a brilliant film with a brilliant story from a talented director. This film will be Big success in the coming days just like commercial entertainers. The performance of whole cast was simply superb. Given the brilliant filmmaking & non-linear narrative trick, it could have been a far better entertainer.

Literally had zero expectations. But Dhamaka was the biggest surprise of the year. It s been a while since I have come out of a theatre fully satisfied and Dhamaka was definitely that. A movie that deserves to be watched in theatres with a group of friends or even family. And I was really waiting for a movie like this, to watch in theater. After a long time i heard burst of laughter continuously in theatres.. Its Takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Outstanding performance by familiar and unfamiliar faces. Ends in a good note. A perfect family movie. Shivraj just rocked it.. Really Good entertainer. Go for it !
