To define it as a modest film sounds more than reasonable. It is modest, from the sketch of story to the acting.
But it has the virtue to remind. Old romance, giving , in a difficult moment of life, the kick to the fair direction, the meeting offering hope and courage, the faith and its resurrection after difficult moments and a sort of resignation by the joys, ideals and certitudes of early ages.
Modest but honest, this can be its right definition. Because it is more than romance but nice embroidery of details about meaning of life, old memories and their virtue of support in tough moments, a blue teddy bear of youth and a white one for the baby who comes in world and about succes in different forms, the root being the same.
