Aar Ya Paar

Aar ya paar is an action series directed by neel guha, glen barretto and ankush mohla.

Aditya rawal has the potential to be a star in the upcoming days. He gave a very good performance here. In the action sequences, he was upto the task. Dibyendu bhattacharya is a hell of an actor and he has given a terrific performance, very clever and oppurtunistic. Patralekha paul was fine, cannot give it full marks. Ashish vidyarthi was the best in my opinion. He was a grey character and he showed various emotions clearly. The other actors were average to decent.

I have a problem with the tone of this film. Some characters were subtle, others were aivayi over the top. The character of kisna and the other tribals looked so over the top to me. Whereas, sarju was so subtle, the other characters were so subtle.

The screenplay too has many flaws. There are some continuity issues, other are due to pacing. 6th episode onwards, the screenwriting seems so rushed and frantic that you cannot have some breathing space, so many things are happening. Its engaging no doubt, but the characters need to be taken along. Sarju and reuben are very well written. Reuben especially is a classic case of grey villain. In the 5th episode, there is one fantastic scene where he just bashes someone's head. Later, he is surprised by whose blood is it on his face. A subtle commentary on rage and how it shapes your mental state. A character whose son despises him, he knows it and lets it happen because he loves the power and the evilry that comes with it. Sarju too is established beautifully.

There are some fantastic oneliner dialogues which are full masala. The creator uses bollywood songs perfectly. He also did it with apharan, he also does it here.

The cinematography is brilliant. In the concluding action scene, there is a brilliant 360 shot. The colour composition is good. The production is on point. The tribals have been designed quite fine.

This is a very good series despite having some flaws. I rate it 8.

Anwar Says: Two initial reasons to watch the web series, the Director Siddharth Sengupta was the director of Undekhi, Apharan and Ye Kali Kali Aankhen and the lead Sarju ( Aditya Rawal) is Paresh Rawal's son. Probably the first filmi depiction of Adivasi Exploitation and brilliantly told by Sidharth. The series starts slowly amidst misty hills , waterfalls , rusty sack clothes of characters and look real and picks up when Sarju is on a revenge errand.

The grip of Sidharth is found on all the Departments, whether it is Cinematography or VFX or Costume Designing or background score or the twist and turns of the Story ( written by him only). Ashish Vidyaarthi after a long time looked of his own , Dibyendu is not a Cop this time for a change and role of cop played by Sumeet Vyas is subdued. Patralekha character could have been more vocal and so of Shilpa Shukla , probably in the second season.

The message that Adivasi are being treated with cynicism has been perfectly told with stellar performance. Character of Sarju is not magnified but shown as lethal weapon and he too is being used by everyone around him. Watch it for sure.

People who lives for only money won't be able to understand not only tribes, they'll be same for every other human, animal, resources, etc. They think that they are the superior because they have money and by that they can buy anything.

Because of these idiots this paradise(our mother earth) has started crying.

They will never understand this beautiful life given by the god, beautiful resources given by nature and mother earth are precious than any greed which is temporary.

In this series what an amazing writing, scenes and acting was involved to show us these things so so beautifully.

Great message is provided to all of us that we should take care of our custodians of nature are we can protect them from these money diggers. The destruction of wildlife and their resources and tribals will lead us towards making this beautiful earth to the hell.

We should encourage this valuable cause and make this series so popular that it should present in Oscar and wins too, if web-series gets nominate, else I already gave it from the bottom of my heart to the every member of this beautiful web-series.

I have not seen such best web series. A wild boy Sarju and his revenge. Its story, its heart touching BGM (specially flute), its stunning graphics, everything is amazing. I would like to tell everyone that if you are looking for best entertainment on OTT then you must watch this web series because all the episodes will not let you blink eyes at all. Thank you Makers and Disney+ Hotstar for presenting such a great story. I want to tell Bollywood people please work hard and start making such good movies because now entertainment doesn't just mean Bollywood because now talent is emerging everywhere.

Efforts have been made to show the characters and graphics very strongly. The actors' characters and their art are very impressive and one character in particular, Sarju, has given a tremendous performance. And waiting to season 2.

As a negative incident, the final part of the story has become more confusing.

The extent to which modern man can go for his own selfishness is beautifully and elaborately described here. Day and day the nature and the custodians of nature are moving towards the destruction of tribals, wildlife and wild resources for their own gain.

There are continuous efforts by NGOs and governments to protect them and as an aware citizen it is our duty to protect them.
