It Takes Two

This pair of Pure Taboo vignettes puts pointlessness on a pedestal. The label's usual dumb attitude reaches new levels of mediocrity.

Title segment is poorly acted and merely ridiculous. It's about infidelity, about as marginal a topic in the entire universe of what's considered Taboo.

Cindy Starfall and Jack Vegas are an unlikely married couple (they look like they just met in a bus terminal) visiting their marriage counselor. Jack goes to the parking lot to get their car, and seems lost, an idiotic plot element that is immediately dropped. She flirts with a Black stud in the waiting area, and almost immediately they have sex, finishing up in time to avoid getting caught by Jack. He is their marriage counselor's husband, and the two illicit lovers carefully remove their wedding rings while humping. Dillon Cox as the stud gives truly inept line readings, and the scene goes nowhere.

Supporting scene is killed off entirely by casting Tommy Pistol, an actor porn directors swear by, but as shown here always is guilty of overacting, and goes gonzo for the XXX portion of his assignment, grossly contradicting the "character" he's playing. I found it unwatchable to see him pouring on the bathos, crying and whining as he grieves for his wife, only to turn around and hump her daughter. Had porn been eligible he would have undoubtedly earned a Razzie award for his performance. Stepdaughter Savannah Sixx looks great and probably deserves some sort of reward (beyond her paycheck) for letting this schmuck hump her.
