Given how hard it is to even make a basic joke in todays Woke environment, Jeff was able to cover a variety of todays topics and still get the laughs. As many people have been saying... Walter is a ringer for Biden and of course Jeff takes advantage of the situation (of course any Lefty will hate to see reality slapped in their faces) and gets a fair and not too many jokes in.
Sorry, but when Biden is more Walter than Walter is... its pretty easy to line the jokes up and bowl them over. But, he didn't spend his entire time jabbing on Biden. He then goes to his other puppets and a new one and gets a bunch of jokes in on a variety of todays topics with lots of laughs.
The main problem I see with this special is it could have gone on for another 20 or so minutes to take it to a full hour.
You can clearly see where the editing happened and makes you wonder, what did he talk about that didn't make the final cut? Was that done so you will go out and see his show or was it that the 'powers that be' didn't want us to see what he did??
I always have a good time with Jeff Dunham and would give him an 8, but with the shorter set, I rank it a 7.

Jeff Dunham. I used to be a big fan. Now I'm a small AC. And if you don't like that joke at least I prepared you well for his 40 minute snooze-fest. Never thought I would skip over some bits of his show, but I just did. Used to roll on the floor watching his earlier work. Don't get me wrong, he is still competent and extremely professional except the spark of insanity and the originality is gone. The jokes are boring, and you can see them coming for a mile. But the worst part was, that I knew some of them from the internet. That shouldn't happen. Maybe you should just know when to quit. But I guess money talks. It would be sad to see him fill smaller and smaller venues after filling arenas during the world tour. I guess we'll find out.
Right, well as the opportunity presented itself to sit down and watch "Jeff Dunham: Me the People", of course I did so. However, while I am not overly much a fan of Jeff Dunham, then this wasn't really something that had me worked up. But I still opted to watch it, as I hadn't seen it.
There is good news here for the fans of Jeff Dunham, because "Jeff Dunham: Me the People" does follow the formula that he has been running on for years and somewhat perfected, I suppose. So if you like his previous many shows, then you will also enjoy this one.
Personally then it is always Peanut that steals the show, and it was no different in "Jeff Dunham: Me the People", because Peanut was spunky, energetic and, well, being Peanut.
The material in "Jeff Dunham: Me the People" was good, and there were some good laughs here and there, and Jeff Dunham does take some good jabs at the current US president, as well as today's society with the sad addiction to mobile devices. So he does work some interesting contents into his routines.
Yeah, I was entertained by watching "Jeff Dunham: Me the People", however it is hardly something I will return to watch a second time.
My rating of "Jeff Dunham: Me the People" lands on a five out of ten stars.

One of the best things about Mr. Dunham's comedy until now was that it brought people together. He was an equal opportunity comedian/critic. His jokes were written with the audience in mind....he gave us a laugh without being crass or too hateful. Unfortunately this latest "special" was just one sided, unimaginative, and full of pandering to the lowest denominator, at a time when our country is already struggling to hold itself and together. As a long time fan, I was disappointed with the quality of the material as well as his unabashed political agenda. We watch his type of comedy for a lighthearted laugh so as to be distracted from the everyday stresses of life. Why did you decide to change your show Mr. Dunham? Why further divide our country? You are privileged to have a platform and a voice that could have been used to unite your audience with lighthearted laughter as was your gift. It seems as if your attained wealth and privilege have cost you the talent I so admired in your shows. You had the ability to be an equal opportunity comedian with a light touch. I'm saddened to see and hear that you've taken your talent and turned it into a weapon to insult and further divide our country. It may not bother you that you've lost a long time fan but it saddens me deeply that you've buckled under the pressures of hate, money, and privilege at a time when your loyalest fans needed you the most.
So excited to be able to watch this at home on Paramount+! Jeff's delivery is always on point and I can't stop laughing when he brings Peanut on stage - Dunham's humor is as sharp as ever in MTP, it's a must-see for fans and newcomers alike.
And honestly, if you need a good laugh, Jeff Dunham's "Me The People" is the perfect remedy - it's funny, irreverent, and just plain entertaining. I watched MTP with my family and we were all in tears from laughing so hard. He brought out the lovable characters we all know and it makes for a hilarious show with some of the fresh ideas Dunham approaches. Worth the watch!
