I thoroughly believe that electric vehicles for work and commuting are the way of the future, but there is a world of advanced technology out there that can be used for FUN! I love how this document not only shines a light on the versatility of electric skatesboards, electric unicycles, one wheels, etc but also the diversity within the community. Diversity of age, backgrounds and genders. I can only imagine how much easier life would have been if I could have zipped around my college campus on an electric skatesboard! As a prominent of electric mobility, I left this viewing proud and ready to meet up with a local group for a fun group ride through the city.
Great document with great editing! I look forward to more from Mr. Phillips.

Initially I thought this would be another doc about skateboarding but I was pleasantly surprised. This documentary not only captures the budding popularity of electric vehicles but the people who ride them. I have never seen this much diversity!!! And I mean REAL diversity...there is middle aged mom, army vets, kids... The representation was so awesome to see. This doc told the stories of the people involved in this movement the electric skateboards were just a vehicle to do it. The video editing and cinematic choices were chefs kiss! I highly recommend. This is the directors first doc so I cant wait to see what he does next.
This documentary hit it out the park telling the story of electric riders. It is a community that a lot of people are not aware of. The director did an incredible job bringing to life the rider's stories and interconnected them into a tapestry of adrenaline fueled fun.
What was most compelling was the camaraderie and multiculturalism of the riders. Their stories I am sure will make viewers feel connected to the story. The director took time to pay homage to his wife and son highlighting how e-skateboarding had become a family affair. Today we hear too much about disconnected families and their love for each other and riding is compelling and uplifting.
Overall a great documentary that will inspire others to explore and even consider becoming a part of this community.

Patrick Philips did a great job of capturing the thriving PEV scene. It's small compared to larger cities but the filming really captures the heart of the riders. Patrick captures the real writers and their stories without any fluff. He has a great way of making his subjects feel comfortable and share their personal experiences. The quality of the filming was very good but never got in the way of telling the story. The surprise ending is great too.
This documentary was amazing! It was an amazing perspective on Electric skateboard. I appreciate that electric skateboarders are doing their part helping with global warming. Instead of driving a gas filled car they are using the skateboard to commute to work, school, or maybe even special events. I love the diverse community that this documentary of electric skateboarding brings together. I love how this documentary shows inclusivity for all genders, ages, and ethnicity's to come together and enjoy skateboarding in a fun new way without being judged. Electric skateboarding is a lifestyle. Also, the cinematography was outstanding. Keep doing what you are doing Patrick with putting electric skateboards on the map, and bringing safety awareness to electric-skateboarding! Great documentary, I highly recommend!
