Act Your Age

I am loving this story of three vibrant, energetic middle aged African American women who are not trying to be younger than they are, but are living life on their terms despite all the ups and downs. The comedic timing between the three actors, Tisha Campbell, Nicole Brown and Kim Whitley is flawless. The chemistry between them is undeniable. Each character has her own distinct personality. Keisha (Tisha Campbell) is a free-spirit. Angela (Yvette Nicole Brown) is kind of straight-laced. Bernadette (Kym Whitley) is ambitious. They all live together in Bernadette's high-rise apartment where Bernadette owns the building. This show, so far, is funny and entertaining. Keep up the good work.

Being a lady in my prime at 57, I relate so much to this well put together comedy! Having "grown up" with these actresses over the years, it's quite refreshing to see these women at the top of their game! And even though people want to compare ACT YOUR AGE to the classic Golden Girls, I urge viewers to watch ACT YOUR AGE for it's own unique type of comedy! I rarely laugh out loud at typical sitcoms but this one right here.... HITS HOME!! Did anyone catch Tisha Campbell's (Keisha) Easter egg from SCHOOL DAZE? I do hope BOUNCE TV keeps ACT YOUR AGE in rotation for many seasons to come! BRAVA ladies!!

The show is phenomenal we get to see a lot of the amazing actresses from our past they look absolutely beautiful and outstanding. But the only thing that doesn't make sense to me in the show is the children's storyline I feel that the women in the show can hold their own without the kids having to play a part in it. Their storyline is just ridiculous and Overplayed they're not needed. It's not that I have anything against the children being played in the showBut I just feel that they bring down the show with their odd storyline. But I love the women they are doing there thing. Act Your Age!!!!

I already love the stars of this show. There are some points where it looks like the ladies should be given more input in the writing & lines but other than that I love it. Tisha Campbell is hilarious in everything she does but i feel like she has finally been let loose on this show. Her expressions & comedic timing is priceless I hope this show will last until they reach the age of the golden girls. This is a winner. (Note to writers, many of us can tell when the line delivered was probably not written by a woman, give them more input & this will be a top rated show. All of the actors are so talented, there is no reason to be overly silly which is turning some of my friends off. Me I personally enjoyed every episode but I need you to hang in there. I need more of this of this show for years to come.

I really love this show! So funny and the ladies really work well together. This is a modern version of The Golden Girls without the ladies being as old as Blanche, Dorothy, and Rose.

I must admit that watching episode one I felt a tad indifferent about it, but as the show progressed it really came together. I think it was that I never saw these ladies playing an "old" role. But eventually i got over it and was able to enjoy this show.

It doesn't give cheap and the set looks great. I looked forward to seeing a new episode every week. I can see this becoming a comfort show for me that I could constantly rewatch. LOVE THIS SHOW!
