The lighting is starlight out terrible but the actual short film as actually one of the better Budget Productions short films. It's funny, creative and a unexpected hilarious plot twist. Just a shame the lighting is awful.

Josh and Jack make this short worth watching with some notable performances. Mr Dover is an interesting antagonist that I'll like to see more of as his design is cool. Although it is clearly Jack voicing him. This short film could've been one the best if they could sort the lighting problem. Everything else does stand out compared to their previous short films. It's just fine.

A lot funnier than I was expecting. I'd say this is more of a comedy than a serious mystery film. Jack Vickers and Joshua Foxon are the best thing about this. They're energetic and carry the whole short film. The lighting is what let's it down. It meant to be a dark film but the room is very dark and at points hard to see what's going on. It's a lot different to previous short films made by Budget Productions but it doesn't tackle dark themes and just feels like a saw parody.

The comedy and performances is what make this short film rewatchable.

The ending plot twist did make me laugh I'll be honest.

In this world there's a lot of ok films. But Facts and Evidence might be the most ok film ever. It's not great but has some positives. The darker tone is nice compared to other short films by Budget Productions but turns into a comedy only a minute in. For the last short film of 2022, it could've been better but it could've been a lot worse. The performances are good and Mr Dover is an intriguing antagonist. His design is very cool. But when compared to Project Thorn, Despondency and Gray Cade vs The Jacket it lacks the good'ol charm they carry. The lighting ruins the film pretty much. The ideas of the 'traps' are cool.

Facts and evidence does some things right. It's funny in its own respect and has interesting ideas but with bad lighting and a mediocre script it's just ok. The comedy is great. I laughed a few good times but it's made for a specific audience. The performances were surprisingly decent with Jack Vickers playing both Aidan and Mr Dover. The 'traps' are creative enough and do spring a bit of inspiration from SAW. This is the clearly a parody in some respects. The soundtrack is fine but nothing to shout about. Sums up the whole short film really. Watchable but nothing to shout about, it's just fine.
