I was deeply touched by this film because i finally heard the words I hear in my head every week. Out of fear I cannot speak out loud the truths I've found in the books not included in the Bible it absolutely does mean something that those books were not included. Those books speak loudly of the spiritual and the powers that be back then didn't want us to have a connection w the spiritual and we can see the effect that has given us today. "Spiritual" ppl are completely disconnected from the spiritual. If you did have a spiritual experience and told most Christians they would call you a skitzophrenic. There is a disconnect. Mass judgement. Christians use their faith as an excuse and reason to judge others. We are to LOVE our enemies and treat our neighbors as ourselves. The Christian Creed has been lost to many and the book of Timothy and others are books I think would had kept that from becoming so widespread today. Every word resonated to me. This man has wrote this from the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and those of you that didn't hear and find something small to criticize him over so that you don't have to admit his truth or admit you had it wrong before have a log in your eye. The words in this doc are so powerful they SHOULD remove all negative criticism from believers because these are words you can't hear in ANY denominational church because they are so lost and disconnected today largely. This doc spoke to my soul and said things I have thought about and dared not say for a long time and then a ton of things I haven't thought of. This doc deserves a novel prize and every award in existence this man said what the Holy Father wants us to say. He gets it. So many in churches today but so few can actually truly see. This man can see.

    Ruined by the Narrator!

So let down. This proved to be the worst narration of any documentary I've ever seen, which is SUCH a shame. I'm sure the content is good, the problem is that his voice relays as if on +2 in a vocal speed setting. After awhile it's as bad as the teacher in the Charlie Brown movies and completely ruins the movie. If he would simply relax and slow it down it would be wonderful if not profound! Rather speed-reading through a script aloud, in a monotone voice, ruined it completely. I had to turn it off 1/3 through! Am I alone in this take? Bummed.

Forgive me Jesus-I really don't mean to bash this guy, but it's truly almost comical that they'd even consider this a finished product to share with the world. Such that can't be taken in affectively.

    Narration

This style of pausing at awkward, unnatural places, makes it nearly impossible to get through the show or even digest what is being said. I can't say where this style originated or why but I have noticed it before, particularly in younger folks. It would be interesting to watch someone who talks using this style, actually read a well-written story with commas at natural places.

I have no idea whether the show is good or bad. There are so many competing shows on this topic and the fact that those of us who attempted to watch this one, likely have a genuine interest, makes the preventative style of delivery, an awful shame.

Somewhat difficult to follow narration; however...

I am Astonished!!! This is definitely meant to be watched parabolically (spiritually); it's worth the effort to attempt to look beyond the "flesh and blood" meaning of the film. It actually goes even deeper than it actually goes. I've been having many of these revelations for years now (via studying world religions, spirituality, quantum physics and many "self-help" works in juxtaposition to my own life experiences, trying to find common threads) and I was troubled, in the beginning. I have such a feeling of validation from watching this film. I think there will be others that have the same reaction; and some who won't. It may take a few viewings for some and others may get it right away, either way, it's something everyone can benefit from seeing. I believe that the truth ultimately comes to us from God and not from "flesh and blood," as it did with Simon Peter, but "the Lord contrived all things symbolically and by a dispensation toward men, for their conversion and salvation" - Acts of John 102; i.e. These symbols (like this film) are created by God in order to pave the way (as did John the Baptist) for the coming of the Lord (the word of God).

Narration Made it Very Difficult to Understand

Whatever the message of this documentary was supposed to be, it fell on deaf ears. Not because I have a hearing problem, but because the narration was difficult to understand. Even with subtitles on, it was hard to follow because the narrator spoke quickly and inarticulately. He mumbled through the first five minutes with such removed and dispassionate delivery that it felt as though even he wasn't convinced by the material. His monotone voice and lack of enunciation made it impossible to connect with the subject matter, and the lifeless narration drained any potential intrigue from the documentary right out of the gate. This documentary is a classic example of how poor execution can render even the most compelling topics utterly forgettable.

To the creator/narrator/writer of this documentary: Redo your film with a professional voice actor. Give it half a chance to get your message across. Why get to this point to have your work turned off because we can't understand a thing you're saying?
