This one focuses on Tracy and Nick who have been married now for three years but still haven't had a proper honeymoon. They both are so busy with their respective careers they may go days communicating with post-it notes. So they plan a honeymoon, to an out-of-the-way Greek spot. Plus, they need to take along the veil for an unrelated reason. That comes in handy when a British fellow shows up and gets attracted to the young lady working at the resort.
But a bigger story element is young Leo, and orphan of about 10 or 11 who is studying art in a local school. He also runs and has aspirations of running for Greece in the Olympics some day. Tracy and Nick take a keen interest in him and make plans to help him in ways they could not have expected.
Overall a nicely entertaining movie with some good relationship themes, and of course nice scenery.
There's an excuse to take the veil with them, of course. Everything starts out okay, but then her two friends show up? On her honeymoon? The honeymoon expressly designed to provide alone time for her and her husband? Not only did that not ring true, but if it had I'd have considered it incredibly rude and inappropriate. But it happened because the formula for this series required it, not because it actually made sense.
The romance is a rich woman's grandson and the sister of the brother/sister owners of the B&B. They don't spend NEARLY enough screen time on that story.
Another subplot is a young orphan Greek boy who draws great pictures ... mostly in pencil. They spend way too MUCH screen time on that one, and the outcome is utterly predictable from early on.
For me, an okay watch but definitely not a rewatch. Huge series fans, please don't hammer me for that. LOL.
This film revisits Tracy and Nick our hard working New York couple who three years post wedding have yet to take their honeymoon. These two detail oriented driven work-a-holics agree to not only go on honeymoon, but to allow fate to decide where...which is how they end up on a Greek island at the inn of the worst cook on the island and his sister. While Tracy and Nick struggle to spend alone time together, a romance (thanks to the veil) starts to blossom between one of their Greek hosts and a fellow guest who is a British gentleman visiting Greece his grandmother, and Tracy becomes fascinated by this young local boy with a gift for sketching (Leo).
Beautiful backdrop for this story which gets crashed by our other two Wedding Veil ladies, Avery and Emma. I am not sure Nick and Tracy's quality time question is fully answered, but they do eventually get on the same page about Leo.
I love this series and I really hope they do more...my favorite part is that at the heart of the series is a loving and supportive friendship of three college girlfriends. Don't get me wrong, I like the romances...but I like that the story is rooted in this friendship.
Recommend for all those romantics, like me out there.
This one is also tied with the best of the Wedding Veil series. I hope they continue with the adventures, because these movies are a true gem of the Hallmark universe. What makes this one just as good as the two featuring Autumn Reeser is the actual journey and landscape, and the variety. Our main couple goes to Greece to finally take their honeymoon after a few years of being married. They meet some wonderful people there, including siblings who run a hotel b&b, and there is the guy and his mother, and the young boy named Leo, who is quite endearing I might add. "The Wedding Veil Journey" does not lack for beautiful scenery, ocean beaches, wonderful towns and cityscapes... the food aspect is tantalizing, and the romance is ever present as the lead characters continue with the marital fun, and the new couple is interesting and lively. This film has all the desired elements wrapped up in one glorious finale of the 6 Veil installments. They must make more of these, please, please, pretty please.
Veil #6 is a must see, if you are wondering whether to continue with the series after the first few, take my advice and stick with it. The last two (#5 and #6) are the best. In case they make #7 and more, then that means #6 is not the last one, and that would put a smile on my face.

Headmaster Papadopoulos: Art and running?
Nick Serchio: Yeah.
Headmaster Papadopoulos: And when he's done with school... then what?
Nick Serchio: Well... .
Headmaster Papadopoulos: Enough... of this foolishness! I know you think you're saving him. You're not. Go home! Leave him... and me... alone!
Tracy Serchio: Mr. Papadopoulos, what do you do for fun... or to relax?
Headmaster Papadopoulos: Well, uh... I read a lot. Mysteries, mostly. And I go to the cinema and museums. And I sing in the church choir.
Tracy Serchio: Those are all very beautiful forms... of art. Someone wrote that book. Someone... filmed that movie... painted that masterpiece... and composed the music that you sing. What would your life be like without art? Could you even last a week... especially when times are tough? You and I have one thing in common. We both turn to the arts for comfort. I can't predict the future, but I do know one thing: Leo will either grow up to be an artist... or he will grow up frustrated and regretful that he never even got the chance!
