Good watch with roots in Kannauj - mice depiction of struggle between new vulnerable gen vs old gold - our parents (there routine fights but unfathomable silent love)

Pretty evident that director knew her canvas and shooting af the locales than set makes it different- my family roots are from kannauj ans i could connect with what o saw and felt real

Ashutosh Rana and Sheeba Chaddha portray their roles with full conviction, their characters rich with quirks and emotions. Their on-screen chemistry and natural banter feel authentic, akin to any real-life parental arguments. Pavail Gulati injects energy into the film, making Yug a relatable character for today's youth.

I can't say it's good act by actors . It's an emotions what you delivered . Outstanding story please made more films like this. Really appreciated. We really wants to watch such a realistic films nowadays nob6wants to make this type of films but in reality people have to created so our next generation also know about rishto ki taar hamesha Judi rahe. Loved that phase when a son pamper his dad and heartfelt scene. Partner understand each other feeling. Family aisi to honi chahiye jaha har ladki apna ghar basana chahe jaha khatti mithi nok jok ho or behen bhai ka pyar ho unki takrar ho bas or kya.

Lastly even the neighbours friends etc blend in your ego trips and the only one who can tell you to do the RIGHT thing is your HEART. So listen to it. Watch this film as a lesson not entertainment. Middle aged parents of grown up children living in a small town in UP find that they are quarreling and arguing most of the time. Both have not been able to pursue their individual passions after marriage. He ( Ashutosh Rana) wanted to be a quawwali singer while she ( Sheeba Chaddha) wanted to deal with manufacturing of Indian perfumes. During one of their bitter quarrels they decide to divorce much to the shock of their working son ( Pavail Gulati) who tries his best to persuade them to change their mind.

This then is the plot of a "grey divorce " in the making which is novel for Indian audiences no doubt but the final product doesn't come out so well. One gets the feeling that in better hands ( read writer/director) the movie could have turned out much better given that they have talented and versatile actors at their disposal.

Presently everything about the movie from script, direction to acting is average at best. The movie refuses to rise above that and connect with the audience despite a relatable premise. There is no intensity in the emotional scenes which remain superficial most of the time. The subplots are distracting too. Both Ashutosh and Sheeba have given many better performances earlier but here they do not impress. Pavail Gulati and his romantic interest Isha Talwar have done better comparitively.
