A marine archaeologist travels to Spain and finds love.
This is not a Hallmark movie but it plays out in typical Hallmark style, where two attractive single people fall in love, a misunderstanding comes between them, but they share a passionate kiss during the last minute of the movie.
Bree is a marine archaeologist with a few unusual habits, like having her white wine with ice cubes. But she is smart and a good person to have on an investigation of an old shipwreck near the Spanish island Ibiza (ee-bee-tha). Among the artifacts that they find are several nicely preserved bottles of rose' wine thought to be about 170 years old.
So the story that develops involves wine and the local winemaking family, a rich lady who wants to make and market a totally synthetic "fine wine", and a few other quirky developments
The dialog and situations are frequently inauthentic, but overall I found it an entertaining movie, maybe because I enjoyed the wine theme. My wife didn't enjoy it as much as I did.
I am a scientist and I laughed out loud when Bree totally mispronounced the analytical technique called "capillary electrophoresis", a technique used in DNA sequencing.
At home, streaming on Prime. I believe it is a Prime movie.

Not convincing
In these kinds of movies(Hallmark under 2 million dollars budget, shot in 30 days), the lead actors will make or break the movie and in this case,, it's not great.
I don't know who's idea it was to resurrect Caprice Bourret as the femme fatal in 2024 but it wasn't a genius idea as she can barely act.
As to Brook Burfitt, I have seen her do a lot better in other movies (A jar full of Christmas, Finding love in Saint Lucia).
In this movie, she acts like if everything happening is a surprise.
Perhaps it was the director's vision,, but being a 40 year old women drinking white wine, it shouldn't be a surprise to you that you are not supposed to put ice cubes in you wine.
The two male leads do what they are supposed to do in the movie by being eye-candy for the ladies and being in need of her help to realize how wrong their ways are (Classic Hallmark).
There is a movie here. There is actually an original story (won't spoil it), but it is poorly executed.
As to the quality of the cinematography,, it's top class for its budget and genre.
I gave it a 3 stars but could have easily given it a 7 stars (in its genre) if the acting was better and Caprice Bourret was replaced with another actress.
