The remaining members of the ensemble have also performed magnificently. Let's get to the story's substance. In all candour, it is hardly revolutionary. Probably, you have previously encountered something similar. That is, by the way, the most remarkable portion of the performance. All of the performers performed well in their parts. I really like Naseeruddin Sir's performance. He gives his character so much depth. His presence on the show makes a significant effect. The struggle of a young woman to deal with a bully mother-in-law has been realistically represented. It doesn't get much better than this. In my view, the show is a must-see. Furthermore, I believe it is addicting. Yes, you can get hooked to this one fantastic television show. You may certainly watch it with your family to pass the time.

Excepting Radhika Madan (Shanta), every actor played their role perfectly. She didnt have a clear speech nor any changing expression on her face. Was struggling to understand what she was saying the whole time unlike the other actors who had a clearer delivery. Unsure if it was a choice for the character ?? Clearly not expected

Basic story line about the selection of heir from a bunch of choices but with good twists and plot. Lot of blood and gore. All the Makeup , clothing choices, sets were done really well. Wishing for a season 2 soon. Dimple Kapadia is an all time favorite 😍 who can make this a huge success.

Anwar Says: Matriarchy presented in a completely new avatar and a deadly drug cartel is being run by the all women in the family. The egos of men, when they enter, are killed by showing them that the show can be run by women. Homi Adajania has been able to create the atmosphere and the show is neither too paced nor too slow.

Ruthless badass Savitri's character was written keeping only Dimple Kapadia in mind. She says so much with her eyes and stillness that many can't even with loads of dialogues. Second to watch is nuances of Isha Talwar which she performed with conviction. Radhika Madan and Angira Dhar also played their twisted role well. Deepak Dobriyal as monk never impresses. Nasiruddin Shah seems to be out of even pocket money, so that he accepts such insignificant roles.

But what doesn't work for the series is predictability. You smell every turn much before and that makes the story haywire. Dialect used are also not well researched and rehearsed. Many a sequence are not connected and are unanswered. Cliffhanger confirm the second season, hope Homi would overcome the shortcomings.
