Seven Days

It's not a horror movie with ghosts. But very heartwarming and has the right amount of entertainment. Watched the movie both in cinema and on Netflix, the second time watching actually noticed more details which help me to better understand the characters. The story is really great! I was hooked from the very beginning and watched until the end to uncover all the truth. This movie was recommended by a friend who just had a baby. She told me she can resonate with it because it showcased the dilemmas women face in Asian countries. I agree with that, but I feel the movie is more about the love between family, about regrets, and finding purpose in our lives.

Once the characters and setups settle down, you will realise the movie is actually a very heartwarming family drama with well-written characters you want to root for and an engaging story that keeps you immersed in the various narratives until the very end.

The concerns of the characters are relatively down-to-earth but most of all deal with one significant trauma - the death of Aishi and the impact that it had on the rest of the family. The loss of a loved one can never be under-estimated and it is something we all share as human beings. All in all, like the movie very much and hope more ppl will enjoy it!
