The amateurishness of British label JoyBear is evident in this mediocre video, based around the notion of eroticism evolving with technologyUnderwhelming is my reaction, throughout watching it.

The five skits, which rely on the issual pantomime plus some unexpected dialog scenes too, play as basically cornball, the notion of gadgetry rendered nearly irrelevant. Opening vignette "Connected", is about two lesbians played by Belle O'Hara and Honour May, who spice up their love life via a "egg" type of vibrator which with a remote control device allows mischievous Belle to cause May embarrassment as she gives a lecture miles away but has orgasms as the vibrator is set off causing her to orgasm before an audience. This gimmick goes nowhere.

Belle is the star of the show, and returns in a boy/girl sketch titled "Audiophiles", in which with the help of pianist Marcus Quillan she develops a contraption that uses music to stimulate sexual cravings. Resulting sex scene of them making love with headphones (and a condom) on is silly and misses the opportunity to instead exploit the current technology-assisted ASMR craze, which is where I expected this scene to go in the first place.

Cast of unknowns remains JoyBear's biggest defect here, as the label has gone in recent years from originally employing solid, big-name UK talent like Danny D and Samantha Bentley to players who aren't very good looking and not impressive in the sex scenes either. Very sloppy post-production has the names of the various skits misidentified during the end credits though properly displayed as each segment begins.
