The Promise

Overall, a good series. As with many BL series, the long inexplicable separation can be frustrating, but having patience helps. A 10-year separation is a little too unrealistic, and would make more sense if it were a 2 or 3 year separation.

The one complaint I'd have is in the production, where there are several examples where Phupha's hairstyle and clothing seem to change from one scene to the next, when they should be only minutes apart in the timeline. Apparently scenes are not filmed in order, and not enough attention is paid to keeping everything consistent for the timeline? I have to keep asking "is that the same person?" With a little imagination, yes, it is.
