Zuo zi ji de guang

I have no idea how I came across this but I saved the YT link for the Youkou playlist months ago and I tried it out now cause I was in no mood for other more serious stuff. I was very much put off by the general story and the fact that it is 40 episodes long, I think for this kind of story 24 episodes is too much anyway, who has the time for all that silly stuff over at least 35 hours? The story is so cliché and overdone and I hate narratives about somebody taking on huge debts like that and there's bound to be a lot of humiliation and humbling oneself and I don't like seeing that at all. And sadly older woman-younger man type of dramas tend to be pretty much the same these days, the guy is this perfect human that is nowhere to be found in nature and she is this driven career woman and again, I am sick and tired of all that, it was fresh a few years ago when I started watching these, now they're all the same. And then I read some reviews on MDL and it pretty much confirmed my fears and then some so I watched one episode and decided to leave it there because my time is too precious to waste it on this.

Also, why are they all so, so white? The make-up people went a little overboard with it and it looks awful on some of the people.
