I must say that I thought it was the usual TV series where there is the abused woman together with many things already widely seen in recent times instead this TV series differs at least a little from other TV series all Ugula, but above all it manages to touch certain topics without exaggerating too much and does not have the usual cliscé that are found in most TV series, I honestly found a good product written well and which entertains the right!

It's always hard to watch abuse. But even harder to watch a story that she could have literally gotten her husband arrested for murder, found the scarf literally did nothing to fight for her female friend to get justice for her murder. What type of feminist is that? Very unintelligent creator of this show. It's very frustrating to watch her. Go through all of this when there were so many ways out it was just completely unrealistic.

It's not really my type of series, but I have to say the first episode left me excited and wanting to see more. Very unexpected.

The series is dominated by a male perspective that, in some ways, offered a superficial view of the subject. So this is more a thriller than a reflection on the origins and consequences of these power relations and violence. That is a real shame! As they could have used the topic better, it is still very important and present problem in our society.

The plot about abuse turns into a thriller, and that can may be debatable, because it somehow eliminates the social elements of the problem and turns it into simple entertainment, when the only way to escape for women is revenge.

The actors and acting are quite good. And the landscapes of the North of Spain are spectacular.

To finish, I will say that it's entertaining and worth watching, and has some unexpected twists, but don't expect anything psychologically deep or fireworks.

Dear All, I do not understand the overall aerage rating of this series. Yes, it is somewhat slow paced, not Dahmer-style or whatever. I felt at the beginning, what in the name of the Lord is THAT for a storyline. But moving on, you more and more discover the real nature and pathology of Angela's husband. I for SURE will continue to watch 'til the end as in the description on this site, they talk about Angela's escape to find the truth behind all that misconduct of her mostly psychologically abusing husband. I simply like it in fine for the subtlety of the story and I must say that time and again, it's really spooky. But all this are my personal opinions and shall not be taken as a professional analysis.
