Magic City: An American Fantasy

What a great way to tell this story. The introduction and transitions are so well done. The sound design is a ten. I love how director, Charles Todd, seamlessly interwove historical footage with modern reenactments and current footage of the club. They took the opportunity to lean into the fanciful, dreamlike aesthetic. But there is an edge to it that truly grounds the story. It really is a magical watch.
