A solidly suspenseful thriller. It had me guessing the whole runtime. Dakota's character draws us through this twisting and turning movie. The supporting actors also help shore up the tone. Very nice representation of the complexity that humanity hides within. Having to guess each characters internal motive helps keep every scene an interesting reveal. It may be a slow start, but the story will hold suspense while it hits you with action scenes. The use of camera movement was well handled, the locations fit the tone of the story, and the music helps hold the tension and action firmly in place.
Vendetta Road is a thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat from the beginning to the end. A campground manager gets entangled in a mafia hunt on the campgrounds. The story is well written, with a plot that has countless twists and turns. You will find yourself trying to guess what the characters will do and exactly where their loyalties lie. The director did a great job with the cinematic, stylistic shots, and the use of camera movement. I also loved the Kansas filming locations. This movie is well worth your time, so if you're looking for a great thriller to watch, check this one out!
Vendetta Road is an interesting, low budget indie thriller. For all practical purposes, it's a one-location film, which is compelling.
The story takes place at a large, isolated campground. The main character is visited by a fugitive and initially is forced to help him. Their relationship grows over time and becomes more complicated.
Some of the events in the film seem implausible, like a RC car remote working from hundreds of feet away, a body fitting into a container that was clearly too small for him and the lead, Tamera, picking up that container and tossing into the bed of a pick up truck. It's little things like that which took me out of the story a few times. The acting was spotty and the VFX needed work, but all-in-all a pretty good effort. I'm interested in seeing what the director, Nathan Light, does with his next project.

Man, "Vendetta Road" is a trip, a wild ride through the dusty trails of El Reno, where secrets are as plentiful as the stars in the desert sky. Dakota Brooks, a front desk clerk, a seeker of truth in a world filled with shadows, finds herself tangled in a mystery that's more complex than a Coltrane solo.
This tale, it's a jazz composition, a rhythm of suspense and intrigue, where every cabin door hides a secret, and every glance tells a story. The murder, it's just the beginning, a note that starts a melody, a melody that Dakota must follow, must unravel, like a beatnik poet searching for the perfect line.
The suspect, he's not just a man, he's a symbol, a representation of the hidden layers of society, the complexity of the human soul. His story, it's a poem, a song of pain and redemption, a dance with the devil on the road to enlightenment.
"Vendetta Road," it's not just a story, it's a journey, a voyage through the human condition, a trip down the winding roads of life. It's a must-read for any wanderer, any seeker, any soul longing for the truth. Dig it, man.
