Wishes of the Blue Girl

Given that it is a co-production between Ireland and Australia, I was eager to watch it; however, that turned out to be a regrettable decision. The outcome of placing a camera in the hands of an inept individual is often a creation that evokes distress in its audience. It can be succinctly characterized as lacking intelligence. There is an absence of coherent concepts, a genuine narrative, or an understanding of acting and situational context. The dialogues presented are far from credible. I find myself at a loss regarding where to begin or conclude my critique.

The notion of loser engaging in loser's endeavors has never appealed to me, making the experience rather frustrating. It seems that some individuals possess a rather peculiar understanding of what defines a film.

I want to talk a little bit about this movie directed by ryan a. Conaill, released in 2024, reflecting the mystery genre well and mixed with horror elements, let me tell you so that you can watch it too, I literally loved it.

First, let's start with the plot, then I will come to the images and sounds, I couldn't wait to tell you...

The lead character of our movie is a woman who disappeared for a few days, quit her job, cut off communication with her friends, even left her boyfriend... We, as the audience, are trying to understand what happened to this woman, why she became like this, the movie tells us why she became paranoid.

Although the script is not bad, what were those images? With 16mm cameras, a slightly pale bluish color, slightly exaggerated sounds added later and a pleasant music, something so pleasant, like a lullaby for adults, emerged that you can watch the 70-minute time period in one go!

One of the best movies I've watched recently.
