I really enjoyed the storyline. Multiple characters whose lives collide. The story showed choices matter. Choices have consequences and a ripple effect. There is one or more characters that the audience will be able to connect with because this movie shows broken people living in a broken world. I laughed, I cried, I gasped. Looking forward to what this screenwriter, Kay Landon, puts out next. Carrie Simon did a fantastic job directing as this family film was compiled of some seasoned talent mixed in with people who were in their very first feature film. Eddie McClintock is always fantastic in anything he does so that was the icing on the cake!
This movie had me on the edge of my seat. The storyline was unique and I was not expecting it to end the way it did. The actors did a great job and kept me engaged the entire movie. I especially liked the store clerk who kept spraying the perfumes. She was fun and added a nice flair. The movie was so unexpected, we could not stop talking about it when it was over. I would love to see more films like this. The out take at the end was my favorite part. Kate Casetta had me laughing at the end. She had great timing and a fresh look. I hope she is in the sequel! I would watch more movies with her !
Excellent feel good story and yet with enough plot twists to keep the story from being overly mushy. The acting overall was VERY good and in some cases Outstanding. I loved the camera angles and clothing choices for the individual moment(s). The only annoying glitches was sound quality in certain spots of the movie but not too often.
We need more positive stories in our lives but with storylines that depict real people and situations- I find unlike many "Hallmark" films.
Faith based films are increasing in the public's eyes and their popularity can definitely be traced to films like The Ribbon. Nice job Team!!!!

Faith films can easily be a hit or miss experience for most people. Eddie McClintock is not an unknown actor. He's an experienced veteran and his presence in the film, even if it was small, assured me that this movie was not some local amateur church project. I understand this was a first feature for the production team that made this film, but you could see the level of experience in every aspect of the process. The actors performance ranged from adequate to outstanding. The photography was beautiful and the story was engaging and realistic, without all the religious fluff that many faith films attempt to shove down your throat.
It's obvious that the film was working with a limited budget, but it's not the quality of the film, but the impact they were able to make with what they were given to work with, that comes across as highly impressive. I applaud this company for an outstanding job and look forward to what comes next from them. This would be a step in the right direction for faith films to follow.

Not only was I sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time but there were a few plot twists that I had no idea were coming! I went through so many emotions during this film, I can't tell you how many times I cried throughout. The actors and actresses embodied their roles perfectly! The story line was very well played out, there were so many details put into every aspect of the film. You can tell they put everything they had to give into making this and no doubt had so much fun filming together. Over all it was heart wrenching and heart warming and would definitely love to see this film everywhere!

- CuriosidadesKate Casetta, the teenage customer in the mid-credit scene won a promotional contest offered by JC Films and was flown to Louisiana with her mother to visit the set, meet the cast & crew, and film a walk-on scene with Eddie McClintock. She and her mother were a joy to have on set.
