Undoubtedly, one of the beautiful innocent love stories which is claimed to be based on a true incident but a very tragic love story. Story revolves around a couple who share intense attraction and attention towards each other from the very first meeting n who fall in love without admitting to each other until the very end. The direction looks very naive, few dialogues are cringe however, story is what gets one completely involved into it, a kind of pure love story. Originally a telugu love story dubbed in all South Indian languages including Hindi. Available on Amazon Prime. My ratings 7/10!!!

I had the privilege of watching "Love Reddy" (Kannada version) today, and it left a lasting impression. This film, the result of a collective effort by a group of talented newcomers, is both refreshing and thoroughly deserving of a much wider audience than the Telugu Version managed to receive.

What's truly remarkable is that this is the debut film for the lead actors, yet their performances in emotional, romantic, and comic scenes are incredibly well-balanced and mature. Anjan Ramachendra shines as the love-struck 30-year-old, effortlessly capturing the angst and charm of his character and showcases his versatility as an actor. Shravani Krishnaveni is equally impressive-her portrayal in the first half is mesmerizing, and in the latter part of the film, she tackles more complex emotional scenes with remarkable depth. Without a doubt, both of them are stars in the making.

The supporting cast also delivers standout performances. Tilak is a natural as the hero's friend, providing a grounded and genuine presence. Jyothi Madan, as Sweety, brings warmth and relatability to her role, while NT Ramaswamy does an outstanding job of portraying a villain so despicable that he elicits strong emotions, a testament to his skill in making the character memorable. Ganesh and Vani Gowda, as the hero's siblings, offer solid support, adding another layer of the familial charm to the film.

The storytelling and direction by Smaran Reddy are a highlight of Love Reddy. He weaves a narrative that takes us into a small-town setting, where the audience quickly builds a connection with the extended families of the protagonists. The film gradually builds up, leading to a knockout punch of an ending that's emotionally impactful and leaves the viewer with a heavy heart.

Music plays a pivotal role in elevating the film. Prince Henry deserves special mention for creating a soundtrack that seamlessly blends diverse musical styles. Songs like "Kogileyamma" and "Love Reddy" are catchy and fun, while "Oh Sagiri" is a foot-tapping delight. However, it's "Jeevakkinta", a soulful love ballad, that stands out as one of the most heartfelt romantic tracks in recent memory.

The film's co-producers-Madan Gopal Reddy, Raveendra Reddy, Hemalatha Reddy, and a host of other newcomers-have poured passion and belief into this project, maintaining a high standard of production without any compromises. The crisp editing by Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao ensures a tight narrative, and the cinematography captures the beauty of rural life, with stunning visuals of the village, the highway, and bus scenes that transport the audience to a different world.

This film deserves a wide audience, as much as the audience deserves more films like Love Reddy-cinema that's heartfelt, authentic, and filled with soul.
